Apple periodically holds Activity Challenges with unique rewards for its users, and according to reports, this time around the Cupertino giant has an Activity Challenge for the International Day of Yoga — a first for the company.
Apple customers will be able to complete the challenge and earn the rewards by recording 15 minutes or more of Yoga workouts to the Health app via any app that records Yoga workouts to the Apple Health app. The Cupertino giant announced the Activity Challenge by saying “On June 21, celebrate the International Day of Yoga by earning this award with a yoga workout of 15 minutes or more. Record your time with any app that adds yoga workouts to Health.”
Users who complete the challenge will be entitled to a couple of awards:
- Three animated stickers that you’ll be able to use in Messages and FaceTime
- a virtual trophy that will be available to view in the Achievements tab inside the Activity application on iOS
Apple holds Activity Challenges such as this one regularly, with the last one being held back in April, in celebration of Earth Day. In that case, users had to log 30 minutes of outdoor workouts to complete the challenge and unlock their rewards — stickers and a trophy. So, if you’re using the Apple Watch, go record a Yoga session and unlock some cool rewards.
