5 Reasons Why You Should Pull Rappa in HSR 2.6

Rappa is the new 5-star Erudition Break DPS featuring in HSR 2.6 phase 1 banners, and she is extremely cool. Many players are wondering whether to pull for her as the 2.6 banners are stacked with quality reruns like Acheron, Aventurine, and Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae. However, Rappa also provides a ton of value and not pulling her might be a mistake for many players. Here are 5 reasons why you should pull Rappa in Honkai Star Rail 2.6.

5. Rappa Is a F2P Friendly Character

One of the reasons why you should be pulling Rappa in Honkai Star Rail version 2.6 is that Rappa’s build is very free-to-play friendly. Although she is a 5-star character and needs to be pulled from the gacha banner, her best Light Cones and best teams are very F2P friendly. When it comes to some of her best teammates, Harmony Trailblazer and Gallagher become easy choices. Harmony Trailblazer is completely free, while Gallagher is a 4-star character who has often been given for free in past events. The Day the Cosmos Fell and The Seriousness of Breakfast are also two of her best Light Cones, both of which are available in the Light Cone Manifest Store.

4. Rappa Ignores Enemy Weakness

A big reason to have Rappa on your team is that she is great against all enemy types. Rappa deals AoE damage that does Toughness Reduction regardless of enemy weakness type. As she is also a Break DPS, this makes her damage stay high against all enemy types in the game. If you don’t have a solid DPS option for all element types in Honkai Star Rail, you can simply build Rappa and use her instead in most scenarios. Also, as she does AoE Break damage, she is also great in Pure Fiction.

3. Rappa Is Extremely Cool

Rappa is a Galaxy Ranger and a Ninja on top of that. Furthermore, she raps, uses graffiti, and travels around with a skateboard. This makes her one of the coolest characters in Honkai Star Rail. Rappa’s animation, design, and attacks are all beautifully done, with some even calling her the best-designed character in the game. I personally find Rappa’s design extremely cool and that alone is a big enough reason to pull for her in the game. Furthermore, she is also important in the lore as the only other Galaxy Ranger apart from Boothill to have released in the game.

2. Rappa Is the Only AoE Break DPS

Rappa is currently the solo character with an AoE Break DPS build. This makes her extremely special as she is also an Imaginary element type. The Imaginary Break Effect shackles enemies and delays their turn, making it extremely useful in AoE scenarios. Rappa can effectively delay the enemies constantly as she breaks their weaknesses, which further boosts her Break Effect. This way she can technically also sustain your team by simply delaying enemy attacks by herself. With someone like Ruan Mei in the team, both her damage and delaying capability further increase, making her a complete beast against most enemies.

1. Rappa Is the Perfect Pair for Fugue (5-star Tingyun)

The Honkai Star Rail 2.7 version will release Fugue, the new 5-star version of Tingyun. According to leaks, Fugue’s kit perfectly pairs with Rappa and together they can deal a ton of damage. Fugue’s leaked Skill makes an ally reduce enemy defenses when hitting enemies, so when used on Rappa, she can effectively AoE reduce enemy defenses. Other than that, Fugue’s talent also decreases the enemy Toughness, making it perfect for Break DPS units to capitalize and deal damage. Any player that is looking forward to pulling Fugue in version 2.7, should also give a thought to Rappa in version 2.6.
