Putting an end to its teasing spree, the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro went official today in India with newer chipsets and quad-cameras in tow. The Chinese giant had built a lot of hype around the two smartphones and well, they kind of live up to it. Yeah, the chipsets are a notable upgrade this time around, but the major highlight of the Realme 5 series is the quad cameras.

Realme 5 Pro: Camera Specs

Realme 5 Pro is the first quad-camera phone in the most popular and competitive Rs. 15,000 price segment in India. It carries forward the company’s recent camera upgrade, which is the 48MP sensor from the Realme X and adds 3 new sensors into this mix. The primary 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor on the Realme 5 Pro is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens with a 4cm focal length, and a 2MP depth sensor for even better portrait photos.

Well, the camera samples attached above should be enough to give you a quick look at how Realme has optimized the 48MP sensor on the Realme 5 Pro. The camera samples here definitely look promising and seem to capture a lot of details both in daylight and lowlight conditions. The addition of the ultra-wide and macro lens also gives the user a newer perspective while capturing pictures, so that’s great.
