1. Wood Sluice Box

First on this list is the Wood Sluice box, which is best for beginners who haven’t reached level 10 yet. Simply placing this in the waters of Rubble Creek Sands and Deposits will help you collect minerals while being AFK.

At times, the grinding gets a bit tough when you’re not finding valuables in the waters and you don’t have enough money to buy better shovels and pans in Prospecting. However, the downside is that it will be replaceable when you reach higher levels, and reach the second location.

The Wooden Sluice box in Prospecting will become unusable in areas with higher toughness due to its low stats.

2. Steel Sluice Box

The Steel Sluice box is the next in line and costs considerably more compared to the Wooden one. This Sluice has a huge capacity boost of 60, with double the luck of the Wood Sluice and better efficiency. With average overall stats, you should carefully consider it while making this purchase.

Moreover, with its toughness being 2, the usability of this Sluice box is quite limited. In addition to that, other factors come into play. For instance, if you’re focusing on buying the Meteor Pan or the Meteoric for better earnings while playing the game, consider skipping this box.

3. Gold Sluice Box

Next up is the Gold Sluice box, which is all shiny golden in color, along with pale blue bars at the center. This is a must-buy for mid-game prospectors since you will get a huge overall stat boost.

It has a massive 100 luck stat and a capacity of collecting 75 items at a time, and that too within half the time taken by the Wood Sluice. Although the price is quite high at $655,000, you would have saved a lot more money by the time you reach the mid-game level of 15-20.

4. Obsidian Sluice Box

The Obsidian Sluice box is an end-game Sluice and can compete with the Enchanted Sluice. With 150 luck and the capability to collect 100 items, you might get super rich if you keep on checking the sluice box every 8-9 hours.

Looking at the price, you might be worried about how to gather this much money. However, it’s certainly not that hard; the game progression is quite smooth, and you’ll soon have the required money if you use the right shovels and pans. You can also make use of crafted equipment and enchantments in Prospecting.

5. Enchanted Sluice Box

The Enchanted Sluice box is currently the best way to collect minerals offline due to its exceptional stats. Its luck is double that of the Obsidian Sluice box, and an even better efficiency as well, thereby reducing the time taken to collect items.

You can use the Enchanted Sluice box at the Fortune River Delta waters and keep coming back every 5 hours to claim the minerals this thing collected. Once you get it, making money in Prospecting will be effortless.

Those are all the Sluice boxes in Prospecting that you can buy using in-game money. So, what Sluice box do you currently own? Let us know in the comments below.
