Pokemon GO Tour Kalos Features
Trainers can enjoy plenty of features during the Pokemon GO Tour Kalos event. Most of them are related to new Pokemon debuting and increased shinies. Here’s a list of all the details.
Shiny Pokemon Debut

You can encounter Shiny Diancie for the first time in Pokemon GO. Trainers who purchase a ticket for the GO Tour Kalos Global event will receive a Masterwork Research that will lead to an encounter with a guaranteed Shiny Diancie.
Other than Shiny Diancie, here are some other Pokemon that will debut in Pokemon GO Tour Kalos:
- Honedge will appear in one-star raids during the event.
- Klefki and Hawlucha will hatch from 10 km Eggs during the event.
If you are lucky, you can get a shiny version of the above Pokemon, from their respective sources.
Pokemon X and Y Themed Music
A grand event is always incomplete without music. During the event, music inspired by Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will be featured. You’ll be able to hear the new music while walking on the map, catching Pokemon, and participating in Pokemon GO Raids.
GO Tour Kalos Event Medal
During the GO Tour Kalos Global event, ticket holders will be able to choose between two Special Research paths: X Version and Y Version.

The path you choose will decide the type of rewards you will receive and the medal you’ll get. Additionally, you’ll get a Special Research and encounter an Xerneas or a Yveltal with a Special Background. The background will be themed on Pokemon X and Y, depending on the path you choose. This Special Research will be available beginning on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time.
Alongside Xerneas and Yveltal, you can also encounter Unown X and Unown Y through the Special Research. The best part is that the Research encounters can be shiny.
Looking Good Pikachu

A special costumed Pikachu wearing Calem’s hat or Serena’s hat will be featured as wild spawns during the event. The shiny rates for them will be boosted along with Shiny Chespin, Shiny Fennekin, and Shiny Froakie.
New Mega Pokemon Debuts in Mega Raids
Kalos is the home of Mega Evolutions, and it’s no surprise that we’ll witness Mega Pokemon debuting in Pokemon GO Tour Kalos. Mega Dragonite, Mega Victreebel, and Mega Malamar will be debuting in the game. They are one of the newly introduced Mega Evolutions in Pokemon Legends ZA. You can encounter a shiny one from the raids, if you are lucky.
