The Poco F1 has been a massive success, thanks to all the flagship-grade features it offers at an unbelievable price point. In fact, in our Poco F1 review, we found out that it’s hard to found a flaw in the phone at its price. However, one of complaints people had with the Poco F1 was the fact that it does not offer any kind of water resistance. Well, as a matter of fact, it does.
In a surprising turn of events, Pocophone has revealed that the Poco F1 does come with splash resistance, which although isn’t a extraordinary feature but it’s something that’s definitely nice to have. Pocophone revealed this on Twitter and according to the company, the Poco F1 features a liquid repellent coating and is certified splash resistance by P2i. This basically means that the Poco F1 can handle a spill or a splash of water with ease, but ya, don’t take it swimming.
Along with this new detail about the Poco F1, Pocophone also revealed that the phone supports Quick Charge 4.0, again, on Twitter. It’s again pretty surprising, considering the fact that Poco F1’s listing on Mi.com suggests that the phone has Quick Charge 3.0 support. It’s important to note that the phone comes with a Quick Charge 3.0 charger in the box and if you want to make full use of the Quick Charge 4.0 support, you will have to buy a compatible charger separately.
So, the Poco F1 comes with splash resistance and Quick Charge 4.0 support, which are more reasons to buy the phone. Anyway, Pocophone should have announced these features when they unveiled the device but we can’t really blame them, because the Poco F1 does pack in a ton of stuff.
