Netflix is on a roll lately with its live-action adaptations, including One Piece (review), Avatar: The Last Airbender, Yu Yu Hakusho, and more. They are now trying to keep the winning streak up and running with yet another live-action adaptation of the Parasyte manga by Hitoshi Iwaaki. Both the Parasyte manga and Parasyte: The Maxim anime (Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu) are one of the highest-rated in their respective mediums. The anime did justice to the enthralling manga, and now, it is time for the live-action to repeat this incredible feat.
The renowned director Yeon Sang-ho, the director of Train to Busan, Hellbound, Peninsula, etc., has been appointed to run the show along with Ryu Yong-jae (Money Heist: Korea & Peninsula). That said, Parasyte: The Grey is set to be released on April 5, 2024, exclusively on Netflix.

Along with the South Korean director, numerous cast members from the South Korean industry have been revealed by Netflix. They are:
