Spangram Answer for NYT Strands on June 6
The Spangram for today’s NYT Strands puzzle is BEACHCOMBING, and it runs from right to left in the letters grid.
Apart from the Spangram, you need to find 6 theme words in today’s puzzle. However, if you are having a tough time getting through the Strands, check out some tips and tricks in my guide on how to play NYT Strands.
Anyway, with that being said, let’s go to the next section. However, proceed only if you are ready to check out the theme words.
List of Theme Words for NYT Strands on June 6
If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
- BOTTLE
- GLASS
- STONE
- FOSSIL
- SHELL
- DRIFTWOOD
While I didn’t exactly get what the theme today meant right off the bat, I was glad to have gotten BOTTLE right at the bottom right. At the top right, I found GLASS next and right beside it, a very unsure STONE. SHELL wasn’t a hard find either in the leftmost column and above it, FOSSIL wasn’t trying too hard to hide either.
I still didn’t know what the Spangram for the day was though, and I was getting slightly frustrated after a while. So I used a hint to get DRIFTWOOD and that led me to find BEACHCOMBING as the Spangram for the day. And, that was it for today’s Strands.
Apart from having to use that one hint, it was mostly alright. A good challenge, I’d say. How did your Strands go though? Did you find it hard or managed to solve it without using any hints? Do cry your heart out in the comments down below!
