Today’s Answers
If you have scrolled this far, you’re probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s Strands theme words in Strands:
- POACH
- BRAISE
- STEAM
- BLANCH
- SIMMER
- FLAMBE
- DEGLAZE
The theme for today’s puzzle made me think it would be related to lunchables, but my doubts were cleared after stumbling upon the first two words – POACH and STEAM. This made me realize that the theme was related to cooking methods.
So, I started looking for suitable words in the grid and found BRAISE, BLANCH, and FLAMBE in quick succession. Then, today’s Spangram, COOKING, showed itself running from the right to the left. Finally, I found SIMMER (took me a second to decipher it) and DEGLAZED (I kept marking GLAZED) to complete the game.
