- Look for the Spangram or the central theme word, which will help you make more sense of the Strands theme.

If you have figured out the Spangram from the above hint, figuring out the theme words will be easy. However, I don’t want to ruin it for you. Instead, here are some hints that may help you:

Today’s Spangram
The Spangram for today’s NYT Strands puzzle is — PeterPan.
Today’s Answers
If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s Strands theme words in Strands:
- HOOK
- DARLING
- MERMAID
- PIRATES
- LAGOON
- CROCODILE
The theme today shared by NYT Editors is a huge hint, and you will have no difficulty completing the puzzle without using any hints. Scanning the grid, I quickly found HOOK and PIRATES on the left side. Above Hook, I connected the letters to make the words DARLING and MERMAID at the top.
This helped me single out the Spangram for today, PeterPan, which runs from left to right. Then, I simply had to connect the remaining letters to make LAGOON and CROCODILE to finish today’s puzzle.
