Motorola One Action Leaked in its Entirety: Specs, Price and Availability

Motorola One Action specs, price and availability

Motorola is rumored to be expanding its Android One portfolio with the launch of 3 new smartphones at IFA 2019 next month. Motorola One Action is part of the lot and we’ve already leaks and rumors for this device making rounds on the Internet. Now, Amazon Germany mistakenly listed the Motorola One Action earlier in the day and we know all there’s to know about this device.

Motorola One Action will feature the same design and build as the Motorola One Vision, which was unveiled a couple months back in India. It sports a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display, with the taller 21:9 aspect ratio and punch-hole design to house a selfie camera.

This smartphone will be powered by the same Exynos chipset as the One Vision. You will get the Exynos 9609 chipset with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage in tow. One Action will be backed by Android 9 Pie under the Android One program.

Well, it’s the cameras that give this smartphone its name. Motorola is adding a modern ultra-wide-angle lens into the mix to its dual-camera setup on the One Vision. The ultra-wide-angle lens is commonly seen on all action cameras like the GoPro and now the DJI Osmo Action. Thus, the name Motorola One Action. You will find a 13MP primary camera here as opposed to a 48MP sensor on the One Vision, along with an ultra-wide-angle and depth sensor.

Motorola One Action will feature a decent 3,500mAh battery pack with support for 15W fast-charging out-of-the-box.

As for the pricing and availability, the Amazon listing suggests that the top-end Motorola One Action variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage will retail at 299 euros (around Rs. 24,000). There will be two lower-specced variants, i.e 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB, of this device as well.

We further learned that the Motorola One Action will go on sale from September 13th in Germany, which lines with the IFA conference in Berlin. Stay tuned for more updates.
