In Dead Reckoning, we see that Ethan and his team are still clueless regarding the whereabouts of this submarine, and it seems that Mission Impossible 8 or The Final Reckoning, will revolve around finding this submarine and destroying the Artificial Intelligence. Other than that, there are several unanswered questions revolving around Marie, Luther, and Jasper Briggs, which will most certainly be answered in the upcoming adventure with Ethan Hunt.
