So, check this complete list of Minecraft Dungeons 2 enemies before taking them on inside the game.

Minecraft Dungeons 2 Enemies List

The regular enemies in Minecraft Dungeons 2 cover a surprisingly broad range of combat styles. Baby Sifter

Baby Sifters are the beginner-level enemies that you will encounter once you step into The Sift dimension. The creature first appeared in the key art, and later we got a clearer view in the Minecraft Dungeons 2 gameplay trailer.

Right now, we know that the combat behavior of this mob includes short melee attacks that deal minimal damage to the heroes.

Baby Zombie

Baby Zombies are famous for being one of the most notorious mobs in Minecraft, and they’re returning in this action RPG sequel. Unlike their adult counterparts, these smaller zombies move quickly towards the heroes and can produce swift melee attacks. They’ve been spotted in the Deep Dark, so keep an eye out for these speedy nuisances.

Bearded Sifter

The Bearded Sifter is another unusual addition to the list of enemies in Minecraft Dungeons 2. These are native to the Sift dimension and can attack with blue colored projectiles from a safe range.

Now, the Bearded Sifter’s ranged attacks are not their only strong point. But when you encounter them, you’ll see the projectiles follow the target before eventually travelling in a straight line. The mob remains idle for a few seconds after the attack is over, so you must take advantage of this situation and defeat it right then.

Cave Spider

The Cave Spider is a fast-moving version of the regular Spider mobs that inhabit the Deep Dark. The biggest threat is their poisonous bite and their swift speed. Since these mobs rush towards the players at high speeds, it can get really messy to deal with a situation when the Cave Spiders surround your party on a bridge.

Chicken Jockey

The Chicken Jockey is one of the rarest mobs in Minecraft since it combines two familiar faces into one irritating package. These enemies can rush toward the heroes and attack them with swift melee attacks. Although the mob briefly walks away in another direction before making its next attack, its swift mobility is what will annoy you the most during the runs.

Copper Cubes

While fighting the Copper Monstrosity boss in Minecraft Dungeons 2, it will spawn some minion mobs to break your momentum. These small cube enemies that spawn during the boss fight are called Copper Cubes and can attack you with their melee fighting moves.

Creeper

The Creeper needs little introduction. This iconic enemy in Minecraft Dungeons 2 will run towards you and explode, dealing some serious damage. But there’s a useful trick to deal with it. Once it starts glowing, move away from its range and try to take it down with your ranged weapons in Minecraft Dungeons 2.

Enchanter

The Enchanter is a magical Illager that focuses less on directly damaging the heroes. Instead, it buffs up two other Minecraft Dungeons 2 enemies in range. When linked, the affected enemy becomes larger, gains health, and deals more damage. Since the Enchanter stands idle at a distance, make sure to defeat that mob first to break the links.

Excavator

The Excavator is an underground Illager armed with a pickaxe. It acts as a Vindicator, rushing towards you and swinging its pickaxe once it gets close enough. It can also slam the pickaxe on the ground, dealing more damage, but leaving itself exposed for a brief period.

Flame Construct

The Flame Construct is basically a walking brazier with an unhealthy attitude. These enemies can spawn in the Deep Dark and also while fighting the Twisted Warden boss. Usually, you will find these mobs embedded in the ground, but once a player approaches, the mob activates. It then jumps on the ground, creating a large explosion that sets the nearby mobs on fire.

Geomancer

The Geomancer is a magic-wielding illager that prefers fighting from a distance. It uses magic to make stone pillars erupt from the ground around heroes. Some of these pillars can create barriers and restrict movement, while others can explode after a short delay.

Husk

The Husk is one of the confirmed enemies in Minecraft Dungeons 2, as shown in the latest gameplay trailer. Similar to the Zombies, they will run toward you and attack using their hands.

Nester

Nesters are native to the Sift, and their combat style is pretty straightforward. They will run close and bite the targets. Once the attack is on cooldown, they briefly remain idle before making chaos again. Although it may not sound serious, a pack of Nesters can make your run troublesome.

Pillager

Pillager

You might remember the Pillagers from Minecraft Raids. A similar concept is introduced here, as these enemies appear with crossbows in their hands. The Pillagers can appear in the mountainous regions and in the Deep Dark.

These enemies in Minecraft Dungeons 2 will keep firing with their crossbows, but once they start to load, grab the opportunity to use your melee weapons and finish them off.

Ravager

Ravager
Image Credit: Minecraft Dungeons 2/Mojang Studios

The Ravager is a large hostile mob that looks like a bull and solely relies on brute force. The signature move of the Ravager is to charge forward, ramming through the targets in front of it.

When one starts charging, getting out of the way is probably the best counter rather than drawing your sword. You can later use bows and crossbows to deal with it from a safe range or use the War Hammer to inflict critical blows.

Royal Guard

Royal Guard

The Royal Guards are heavily armored Illagers equipped with a mace and a durable shield. This combination of armor and the shield makes them a strong frontline. So, I would prefer using the War Hammer to break the defense first and then use your ranged weapons to finish them off.

Sculk Cube

The Sculk Cubes are small hostile minions summoned by the Sculk Monstrosity during its boss fight. These cubes will roll towards you and attack with a melee fighting style.

Sculk Slasher

Sculk Slasher

The Sculk Slasher is a Sift-native creature equipped with long claws. It can slash at heroes from a distance and also charge towards them, leaving behind a spectral image afterwards.

Skeleton

The Skeleton remains a staple of the undead lineup of Minecraft Dungeons 2 enemies. They use bows and can spawn with different equipment depending on their tier. The higher-tier enemies can be more dangerous, as some can even come equipped with the Powerbow and some armor on their body.

Slime

Slime

The Slimes return from the vanilla game due to their unique ability to divide into several smaller Slimes. When a large Slime is defeated, it splits into two medium Slimes that can further divide into two smaller Slimes each. So, yes, ranged weapons are the way to go for countering them before they surround you.

Spider

Spiders take a more tactical approach than simply running towards you. The Spiders can fire webs that can catch the players and their companions, thereby making you slow down. So, make sure to take them down fast, before hordes of spiders spawn and fire webs all over the arena to slow down your movement.

Spider Jockey

The Spider Jockey takes the already irritating Spiders and adds a Skeleton on top. So, the Skeletons, now having obtained a mount, will roam around the arena, firing arrows at your party.

Sprout

Sprouts are flying tentacled creatures that belong to the Sift dimension. Although we have spotted them in the key art and the recent gameplay trailers, there are not enough details about what their attack moves are.

Tall Sifter

The Tall Sifter is a bizarre ranged enemy you can find in the Sift. It will keep a safe distance from the heroes and spit large glowing projectiles at you. The projectiles form globs and, after roughly three seconds, the globs explode, leaving a large yellow goo in the blast area.

Vindicator

Vindicators are fast-moving, axe-wielding Illagers that will rush directly towards the heroes. Although they may seem like a simple threat, the Vindicators can come equipped with a helmet or pieces of armor at higher tiers to increase the difficulty.

Zombie

In the list of Minecraft Dungeons 2 enemies, we finally have the humble Zombies that can attack the players with their hands. But you should not take them lightly, because at higher tiers they can come equipped with swords, melee weapons, and even strong armor, thus taking longer to deal with these undead mobs.

Minecraft Dungeons 2 Mini Boss List

The regular enemies are only a small part of the problem since there are some mini-bosses in Minecraft Dungeons 2 that demand a little more attention and better dodging skills. Encountering these mini-bosses will pop up a health bar, and each of them will showcase unique abilities. So, these are the mini-boss enemies in Minecraft Dungeons 2:

Mini-BossDescription
WardenA powerful Deep Dark mini-boss that uses melee attacks, burrowing, and sonic boom
Sculk DancerA large Sift creature that attacks with sweeping movements and spectral afterimages

Warden

The Minecraft Warden has always been one of the most intimidating enemies in the vanilla game. Now that it returns as a mini-boss enemy in Minecraft Dungeons 2, it will surely put up a tough fight.

The Warden can choose any random hero to focus on, temporarily ignoring others in the party. One of its main attacks is the sonic boom that can create a large AoE blast. However, after using it, the Warden stands still for a while before attacking once again.

Other abilities of this mini-boss include burrowing underground and appearing behind a player. It can also charge at you, unleashing melee attacks with its hands.

Sculk Dancer

The Sculk Dancer is apparently the only hostile mini-boss in Minecraft Dungeons 2 that can fly. It appears in the Sift dimension and attacks by swinging its arms and spinning its body. One of the most interesting parts of its attacks is that, similar to the Sculk Slashers, it can leave behind an afterimage after its attacks.

Minecraft Dungeons 2 Boss List

And now, we are heading to some of the biggest problems: the bosses in Minecraft Dungeons 2. These enemies are ready to turn the combat dial up several notches. These bosses can unleash powerful AoE attacks, control the arena with rapid attacks, and more. So, here is the list of all bosses in Minecraft Dungeons 2:

BossDescription
Copper MonstrosityA copper golem boss that uses electricity and summons copper cubes
Redstone MonstrosityA massive boss that fires explosive Redstone projectiles
Sculk MonstrosityA Sift boss that charges heroes, unleashes souls, and summons Sculk cubes
Sprout BossA gigantic Sprout variant encountered in the Sift
Twisted WardenA colossal soul-corrupted Warden with devastating sonic and soul-fire attacks

Copper Monstrosity

The Copper Monstrosity is a massive creature made out of copper, and it is one of the main bosses in Minecraft Dungeons 2. Unlike the cute little copper golems in Minecraft that are completely passive, the Copper Monstrosity seems to take on some highly contrasting features.

While the boss fight is on, the Copper Monstrosity can fire lines of electricity from its hands and also create a damaging electrical ring around itself. While it does melee attacks, the boss can also summon Copper Cubes that can roll towards the players and reduce their health.

Redstone Monstrosity

The Redstone Monstrosity boss in Minecraft Dungeons 2 was first showcased in the reveal trailer. Its signature moves involve firing volleys of Redstone blocks and breathing out flames from the mouth.

Sculk Monstrosity

The Sculk Monstrosity is a massive golem-like boss that you can find in the Sift dimension. It can charge toward heroes and release a burst of souls. Additionally, it can summon Sculk Cubes that roll towards the players, inflicting little damage.

Sprout Boss

The Sprout Boss is a giant variant of the Sprout enemies in Minecraft Dungeons 2. Although revealed in the latest gameplay trailer, the full attack pattern and mechanics have not been fully shown yet.

Twisted Warden

Finally, one of the main bosses in Minecraft Dungeons 2 that has constantly been shown in the official artwork and promotions is the Twisted Warden. It seems like someone took the regular Warden and filled it with twisted Souls.

This colossal creature can appear from the ground and start hitting you by swinging its enormous arms in wide arcs. These melee hits can deal serious damage and knock down the targets.

The ranged attack is even nastier because the Twisted Warden can unleash a sonic boom with a larger AoE effect. It can also fire tracking soul projectiles during the attack. Furthermore, the boss can pull souls from the surroundings and blast them onto the floor to create patches of soul fire.

Finally, during the boss fight, the Twisted Warden can summon Skeletons, Excavators, and Flame Constructs to turn the arena into a full-sized mob brawl.

And that completes the whole list of all enemies and bosses you can find in Minecraft Dungeons 2. So, which of the above are giving you a hard time? Tell us in the comments below.
