Marvel Rivals Season 3 is in full swing, with more new content planned to release in the upcoming weeks. The latest seasonal update saw the introduction of a new Duelist in Phoenix (Jean Grey) and a brand-new map set in the symbiote homeworld of Klyntar. To go along with the map, a bunch of symbiote-themed cosmetics were also made available in the game, but the summer celebrations are far from over. As revealed by the official Marvel Rivals account on X, here’s everything you can expect to see in Season 3:

July 11: Season 3 Update
- Status: Released
Marvel Rivals received its latest seasonal update on July 11, which added a bunch of new content to the game. Highlights include a new Duelist in Phoenix, a fresh battle-pass featuring new symbiote-themed cosmetics, and the Milano Repair Logs event.
July 18: Summer Party Event
The July 18 update will see the release of the Summer Special event in Marvel Rivals, paired with Swimsuit costumes for Loki, Thor, The Punisher, Luna Snow, and Psylocke.
The devs have already revealed the swimsuit skins for Loki and Psylocke, which make the former look like an opulent pirate and the latter like a colorful butterfly. We will be sure to update this section when other swimsuit outfits are revealed.
July 25: Fantastic Four Movie Crossover and New Team-Up
To celebrate the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel Rivals will see the introduction of costumes modeled after the First Family’s outfits in the movie. These will likely be available as part of a paid bundle.
The Fantastic Four content will also include a new team-up in Marvel Rivals, featuring the Thing and Human Torch. However, details on their team-up ability are yet to be revealed.
August 1: New Skins
Heading into August, the game will welcome new costumes based around its newest hero, Phoenix. The cosmic entity’s fiery appearance will be applied to Magik and the Black Panther.
August 8: Season 3.5 Update
The first week of August will freshen things up in a major way with the release of Season 3.5. The mid-season update will likely bring new events and a set of balancing changes, alongside the highly-awaited arrival of Blade. The Daywalker will join the Rivals cast as a fearsome Duelist who can tap into his vampiric powers to gain the edge over his enemies.

Marvel Rivals Season 3 Downtime Details
Marvel Rivals’ servers undergo a brief downtime period for each of the updates mentioned above. The smaller updates, which introduce skins and events, typically have a downtime of around 1 hour, while the larger, seasonal updates see the servers go offline for upwards of 2 hours.
