The final chapter sent the entire JJK fandom into a frenzy, with many speculating that an announcement for Jujutsu Kaisen manga Part 2 is on the cards after the end of the series. Gege Announces a New Jujutsu Kaisen Spin-off Sequel Manga

Based on how Gege Akutami started wrapping up all the plot points in the final chapters of JJK manga, it is no wonder that fans started expecting a sequel. It seemed like the author had no plans for a Jujutsu Kaisen sequel at that time, while he had everything to revive the JJK series with a sequel, prequel, or spin-off. Shortly after JJK ended, Gege teased the fans that he was working on a new manga.
As Gege promised, he returned to work on a new manga project by partnering with Yuji Iwasaki. Titled Jujutsu Kaisen 3: Mojuro, aka Modulo, the new manga by Gege, is revealed to be a spin-off series set in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe. Yes! You heard that right! Yuta and Maki’s grandchildren are confirmed to be the leads of the series, along with an alien named Maru.

Gege wrapped up the JJK story beautifully by making a call back to the first chapter and showing Sukuna’s last remaining finger in a wooden box. But at the same time, Gege left more than ample mysteries and plotlines unanswered in his Jujutsu Kaisen manga. Thus, Gege’s dream work screams for a sequel from him, and that has led to the birth of the spin-off manga, Mojuro.
While the current events of the JJK manga were set in 2018, Mojuro is taking a big leap in time to take us to the year 2086. Set nearly seven decades after the ending of the JJK series, Gege is once again focusing on the sorcerers’ world by making Yuta and Maki’s grandchildren pick up the reins of his new manga. And the Modulo series is getting even stranger with the addition of aliens in the series now.
