Psyche is a cheerful young girl who works as the lodger at Hypnos’s House. She was among the first who showed kindness to the main character in the Hypoberian Empire. It was because of Psyche that Mr. Henrik allowed the main character to stay in Hypnos’s House.
However, we soon learn that Psyche is afflicted with a sickness called Deteoriation. This sickness only affects Charons and has a possibility of turning them into Filthoid. Henrik had been harboring all the Deteriators in Hypnos House, making sure they are able to live a full life and get a peaceful end.
But, due to his love for Psyche, he tried to save her using various methods, none of which worked in the end. Finally, when the time came to send Psyche off peacefully, he faltered. Psyche was finally taken over by the deterioration and had transformed into a Filthoid. That’s when the main character had to fight her.
