While the game’s Steam page does not have any answers, we found a statement on the Xbox and PS5 release on Chained Together’s Discord server. On the official server, the FAQ channel has the answer to the question, “Will the game be available on other platforms?” Responding to this, the developer said,

As of now, we are focusing on the Steam version. Other platforms are under consideration for future releases.

This means the developers might consider a console release in the future. But for now, it is obvious that the focus is completely on PC. If you have played the PC version, you will notice that the game supports controllers. So, controller support is available in the game already.

Although these are speculations based on the developer’s comments and controller support on the Steam version, plans may change in the future. But what about old-gen consoles? While we cannot discard the possibility, the chances are slim. The game can seem like a simulation platformer but it requires a lot of resources. Even a PC with decent specifications can show signs of lag and stutter.
