Chinese giant Huawei has today launched its brand new smartwatch in India — the Huawei Watch GT Active, which was originally launched earlier this year in March, comes in a 46mm case and features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a 454×454 resolution.
However, the highlight of the Huawei Watch GT Active is the battery life that Huawei is claiming. According to the company, the Huawei Watch GT Active has a battery that can last up to 2 weeks — that’s incredible and not something you’d hear about in smartwatches that often.
The watch also comes with heart rate and sleep tracking functions, and also has TruSeen 3.0 and TruSleep 2.0 that are just fancily labelled smartwatch features. TruSleep tracks your sleeping patterns, and can reportedly give you tips on how to sleep better, while the TruSeen 3.0 offers continuous heart rate monitoring. There’s also a triathlon feature that can help in tracking swimming, running, and cycling.
The Watch GT Active doesn’t make use of Google’s wearOS, with Huawei using its own Lite OS on the watch in order to offer better battery life, and probably better overall optimisation as well.
The Huawei Watch GT Active is available on Flipkart for a price of Rs. 15,990 starting today. It comes in two colors: Green and Orange.
