How to Unlock Axiom Force Skill in Crimson Desert
As you embark on a Crimson Desert quest called the ‘Polar Opposites’ in an Abyss Nexus, you will automatically unlock the Axiom Force skill, thanks to the mysterious bird. The Axiom Force is a necessary skill to solve the Abyss Puzzles. Using Axiom Force in Crimson Desert

Now here comes the tricky part: using the Axiom Force may seem a bit perplexing at first, but it gets easier once you grasp the controls. First of all, the Axiom Force is used to grab the objects in the game, and you can either push or pull them. We have listed down the controls to use Axiom Force for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox controllers below:
PC:
- First, aim at your desired spot. Then press the ‘Tab’ key to confirm and start grabbing the object.
- Once an object is grabbed, you can use the left click to push and the right click to pull the object.
- Also, you can adjust the position by moving your mouse or by moving your character.
- Press Tab to cancel using the Axiom Force.
PlayStation:
- For PlayStation controllers, you need to press the ‘L3’ button to use the Axiom Force.
- You can either push by pressing R2 or pull by pressing L2.
- You can quit using the Axiom Force by either pressing the circle or the same L3 button you used to activate.
Xbox:
- Press the ‘Left Stick’ to activate the Axiom Force in Xbox controllers.
- Similar to a PS controller, press RT to push or LT to pull the object.
- You can cancel using the Axiom Force by either pressing the B button or the left stick once again.
How to Upgrade Axiom Force Skill in Crimson Desert
Now, only the basic skill of Axiom Force is unlocked while doing the Polar Opposites quest. So, head over to the skills tab, and the first red node is the Axiom Force skill. Once you start acquiring more Abyss Artifacts, you can use the resource to upgrade the Axiom Force skill.
Then you can unlock the Aerial Maneuver and Aerial Swing sub-skills, which greatly help in traversing the various regions of Crimson Desert. But make sure to increase your stamina first, as performing all the Axiom Force skills costs a chunk of stamina.
