How to Make the Bell Ring at Phainon’s House in Aedes Elysia in HSR 3.4

In Short
  • There is a bell located outside of Phainon's house that doesn't ring when getting hit by attacks.
  • To make this ring, players must complete the Ripples Destined to Rise Again mission in Honkai Star Rail.
  • This mission is unlocked after completing all the interactions with Cyrene in Aedes Elysia, which is part of the Girl Once Known as 'Mem?' mission.

Aedes Elysia is the newly added area in Honkai Star Rail 3.4 update, and it comes with a ton of fun mini-games. This small village is also Phainon’s home, and players get to interact with his parents outside his childhood house. In Phainon’s house, the first thing you will notice is a bell. Unlike other bells in Aedes Elysia, this bell won’t ring when you hit it. Instead, it will give you a message that “It needs the right moment to ring.” So, here is a quick guide on how to make the bell ring at Phainon’s house in Aedes Elysia.

How to Make the Bell Ring at Phainon’s House in HSR

The bell outside Phainon’s house is connected to the “Girl Once Known as Mem?” mission in Aedes Elysia. You can unlock this mission by speaking with Cyrene in Aedes Elysia after completing the Traiblazing mission in Honkai Star Rail 3.4. However, this isn’t a traditional mission and won’t appear on your Mission tab. Instead, it will appear with a marker on the map on Aedes Elysia.

To complete this mission, you will have to complete all mini-games in Aedes Elysia. Completing the mini-games will unlock new interactions with Cyrene. When you complete a unique interaction with Cyrene, you will hear a bell ring in the distance. This hints to the players that the minigames and the bell outside of Phainon’s house are connected.

After eight such interactions with Cyrene, you will unlock the secret ‘Ripples Destined to Rise Again’ mission. Now, you simply need to interact with Cyrene and go through a couple of small interactions to complete this mission. Once you have finished this mission, you can head to Phainon’s house and ring the bell. After ringing the bell, a new message will appear.

Ding — this wind chime carrying the promise “Departure” rang again, as if echoing a distant memory from the past.

Now, as far as I know, there isn’t any unique reward to this interaction. But it is a sweet way to tie up the little mini-games connected to Cyrene in Aedes Elysia.

So, that’s it. This is how you can ring the bell at Phainon’s house in Aedes Elysia in the Honkai Star Rail 3.4 update. Have more questions? Ask us in the comment section below.
