Doing a successful run on Elden Ring Nightreign depends on on how quickly you can level up in the game. Leveling automatically boosts all your stats, increasing your survivability and damage output. If you fail to level up quickly in the first two days, then it can become almost impossible to defeat the Night Lord. Furthermore, the game rewards an ‘Achievement’ for hitting the max level 15, which can be quite hard to get. So if you’re struggling with it all, here is how to level up fast in Elden Ring Nightreign!
1. Plan Your Route
The very first thing you must do on each of your Nightreign runs is open the map and plan a route for your day one. The first thing you must check is the surrounding area of your landing spot. Locate the nearby ruins and mines, and create a path that leads straight from one ruin to another. This is important so that you don’t waste time running back and forth.

Furthermore, once the zone starts to close in, identify the camps that are outside the zone’s new safety ring and target them first. The zone generally takes time to close in, so you must capitalize on that brief period to hit as many POIs as possible before they are outside the zone.
2. Decimate Everything In Sight
One of the essential things to remember is that every enemy is your chance of obtaining runes. Even smaller enemies can drop a ton of runes when many of them are defeated in quick succession.

So, when you hit camps, do not shy away from killing normal enemies by jumping on them together. Going from boss to boss is a good tactic, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t capitalize on the enemies you find on the way. These small enemies generally take a few hits to kill, providing a significant rune per second value.
3. Equip Rune Boosting Relics
Specific Relics boost Rune acquisition rate in Elden Ring Nightreign. Having at least one Relic with rune acquisition boost can be the difference of a couple of levels during your runs. I have even encountered Relic attributes that increase the Rune acquisition rate for the entire party.

If you have a Rune that provides stone sword keys at the start of the run, make sure to always have one or two of them among your allies. Opening one or two extra Evergoals in the game will let you earn a lot more runes than farming regular camps.
4. Shifting Earth Events Are Key
Shifting Earth events are literal gold mines for farming levels in Elden Ring Nightreign. Completing the event in these areas not only provides a permanent buff, but gives you access to a ton of elite bosses in a very close space.

Although the task of defeating multiple elite bosses on day one may sound daunting, this is the first thing you must focus to do on day two. If you are able to clear all the bosses in a Shifting Earth event area, then you are bound to hit level 15 with ease by the time you reach the final day three.
5. Capitalize on Sentient Pest Raid
The Sentient Pest raid, or Locust raid, can be extremely terrifying as it steals levels from hit characters. However, if you manage to follow the locusts and defeat the Sentient Pest boss, you will get an extremely broken Rune acquisition buff.

The buff basically provides a chance of dropping additional runes based on the number of attacks on the enemy. This means that if you equip a fast-hitting weapon, like daggers, claws, or katanas, you can quickly farm many runes in a relatively small time. Thank our friend and creator, Dom’s Roundtable, for this useful tip, which helped him easily hit level 15 on his Wylder solo run.
6. Rune Boosting Buffs Are a Must
After defeating bosses, you will often find buffs instead of weapons. Among the drops, there is a chance of a Rune boosting buff that often increases the Rune acquisition by 15 to 20 percent. This increase can be very influential in getting you the final couple of levels needed to hit the max level.

Other than that, the Evergoal bosses often drop flat-out extra runes as rewards, which you should also prioritize picking if the other buff is not incredibly useful. So, whenever you get a Rune boosting buff, prioritize getting it unless the weapon drops alongside it is simply too strong to give up.
7. Split Up When Well Equipped
Another tactic that I personally used to hit max level in Elden Ring Nightreign was splitting up on day two. We had a good set of weapons on day one, and there was no requirement for us to loot every boss for more drops. So, we decided to split up and cover multiple ruins and camps simultaneously.

The runes are shared among all your allies, even at a large distance from each other, although there appears to be a max distance limit before it stops. Your character should be strong enough to quickly wipe out most of the ruin bosses in Limveld alone, so splitting up maximizes the rune acquisition rate for the team and frees you up for challenging elite bosses without losing your momentum.
