The Forge is filled with mysteries, and the latest update has added a lot more for the late-game players. There’s a new cave filled with deadly enemies, new rocks to mine, ores to discover, a few quests, and of course, a new pickaxe as well. But among all these, the Heart of the Island shines as the rarest find. In this guide, learn how to get the Heart of the Island in The Forge, along with its uses.

How to Obtain Heart of the Island in The Forge

The Heart of the Island is a Relic rarity ore that can be obtained by mining the Heart of the Island rock in The Forge. These rocks spawn inside the Crimson Depths (Raven Cave), which you can unlock by completing the second stage of the Raven quest. Also, if you are unable to access the location and its quest, make sure to have reached level 70 and unlocked the Frostspire Expanse in the game.

As a rare spawn, you might not be able to find the Heart of the Island rock every time you visit the cave. If you aren’t able to see one, try breaking the Red Ice Crystals around you. You can even create a private server, and rejoin the game again and again until the Heart of the Island rock spawns. Now that you’ve found the rock, there’s a 1 in 123,456 chance for it to drop upon mining. This makes it the rarest ore in The Forge.

Mining the Heart of the Island rock is a challenge in itself. It has a massive durability of 32,500 HP, and to break it, you’ll require the best pickaxes in The Forge. Moreover, to start mining the rock, you must have a minimum of a 650 mining power pickaxe, like the Prismatic Pickaxe.

We recommend that you fully break the Heart of the Island rock. This is already a rare rock, and on top of that, the ores you get are also very rare, one of them being the Stolen Heart. The Forge Heart of the Island Uses

The primary use of the Heart of the Island is just like any other ore, to improve the multiplier. With an 18.5x multiplier, it can only be used to forge some of the best armor recipes. You can also use it to craft weapon recipes, but that way you’ll end up missing the ore’s full potential.

It also comes with a goated ore trait that you get on your crafted Armor. The Heart of the Island ore increases your Health by +15%, Physical Damage by +25% and your Movement Speed by +25% for 8 seconds when your Health drops below 35%. It has a base sale value of $346 due to its rarity. However, it is better if you use it to craft armor instead. Other than forging equipment, there aren’t any other uses of it, especially in The Forge quests. However, once we find any new quest that requires the ore, we’ll update this part.
