After a long wait, Epic Games has finally brought back the Fortnite Finger Guns, the unique invisible dual pistols that were added with the April Fools update. With Community Day now alive, many players are eager to try these weapons once again. Wondering how you can do that? Here’s everything you need to know.

Where to Find Finger Guns Weapon in Fortnite

You can find the Finger Guns in chests, floor loot, and Supply Drops in Fortnite. Since the Finger Guns are not a Mythic item, they are easily available through regular loot sources, just like other Fortnite weapons. After being vaulted following the April Fools event, the Finger Guns have returned to the regular loot pool for Fortnite Community Day.

The Finger Guns are available in the following rarities:

  • Uncommon (Green)
  • Rare (Blue)
  • Epic (Purple)
  • Legendary (Orange)

Since the Finger Guns are essentially invisible weapons, they are signified by the pew pew icons when on the floor, so make sure to check your surroundings when looking for them.

How to Use Fortnite Finger Guns Pew Pew Weapons

The Finger Guns, despite being introduced with the Fortnite April Fools Day update, are extremely powerful when used correctly. They feature a burst fire mode and, unlike most other pistols, use medium ammo.

Fire them using your left mouse click or your RT/R2 on your controller, which is your fire button, or kick in ADS using right click or LT/L2. Upon firing, they’ll emit a gunfire animation with Pew Pew comic text around your fingers and a “PEW! PEW! PEW!” sound.

Although Fortnite Finger Guns do not have a scope, the ADS makes the crosshair narrower for you to aim at the enemy more accurately and fire powerful burst shots, eliminating them in just 5-6 shots. However, it’s not as powerful as The Foundation’s Rift Rifle.

Here are the stats for the Legendary variant of the Finger Guns:

  • Damage: 41
  • Headshot Damage: 71.75 (1.75x multiplier)
  • Structure Damage: 41
  • Magazine Size: 18
  • Fire Rate: 4.97
  • Reload Time: 1.98 seconds

The Finger Guns function just like the Dual Pistols, only with the added pew-pew sounds to accompany every shot. It is important to remember that, as fun as these weapons are, they are not a permanent addition to the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 loot pool.

The Finger Guns were initially vaulted after the April Fools’ event. However, with the weapons returning for Community Day, players can once again use this fun, unique weapon until May 31, 2026, at 9 AM ET.
