In the official announcement on the Marvel Rivals news, the developers shared the pre-download details. According to the news, you can pre-download Marvel Rivals on PC through Steam or the official client. To preload the game, ensure you have a minimum of 70GB of space. Once ready, follow the step-by-step process below to preload Marvel Rivals on Steam:

- Visit the Marvel Rivals Steam page.
- Click on the Pre-Load button from the storefront.
- Select your directory and download the game.
Remember that the preloading will only download the game on your directory. You will still have to install the game on the release date. So, make sure you are on time when the game releases.
Preload Marvel Rivals on the Official Client
Unlike Steam preload, the official client lets you download and install the game early on your PC. However, you must wait until December 6 to play the game. Follow the steps below to preload Marvel Rivals on the official client through the website:
- Go to the Marvel Rivals official website.
- Log in to the website using your Netease account.
- After that, click on the Get For Free button.
- Select the Download Desktop App button.
- Once done, click on the Get For Free option in the app.
- From the game page, select the Install button to start preloading.
This will download and install the game in your selected directory. Before proceeding, make sure you have at least 70GB of free space. You will still have to wait until the official release date to play the game.
How to Preload Marvel Rivals on PS5 and Xbox
Unfortunately, Marvel Rivals preload is not available on consoles. In a QNA section, Marvel Rivals officially said, “No. Console players could only download and play the game on Dec 6.” This means that whether you are on Xbox or PS5, you must wait until the official release of Marvel Rivals.
