How to Connect and Use AirPods with Nothing Phone

If you have used a Nothing Phone, then you’ll know that the best part about them is their user experience. It has its own identity with the dot matrix design language and some exclusive OS features. One such feature is that a Nothing Phone comes with native support for AirPods. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

With AirPods support, Nothing Phones can automatically detect the version of AirPods you are using. They also let you see the current battery charge level for the buds and the case without the need of a third-party app.

How to Connect AirPods to a Nothing Phone

This feature isn’t enabled by default, and it is hidden within settings so you will have to enable it to be able to use it. Here is how you can do so.

1. Open the Settings app on your Nothing Phone and tap on Experimental features.
2. Here, turn on the toggle for AirPods support.

3. Connect your AirPods as described above, and they will be displayed in a quick settings tile.
4. Long press on the Bluetooth tile from quick settings to view the battery charge level of your AirPods.

5. If it didn’t detect the correct AirPods model, then scroll down and tap on Select model.
6. Once connected, choose the AirPods model that you are using.

This is how you can enable and use this feature. I do wish that Nothing didn’t just leave it at that and also allowed you to change certain settings as well. But Apple is not the one to entertain other companies mimicking their features just like Nothing tried with the Nothing Chats app.
