Unlocking Anomaly Arbitration is simple and complicated at the same time. That’s because you need to complete the other endgame modes first to unlock it. Here are the requirements to unlock Anomaly Arbitration in HSR:

  • Memory of Chaos: All stages cleared with 3 stars
  • Pure Fiction: All stages cleared with 3 stars
  • Apocalypse Shadow: All stages cleared with 3 stars

Once you have unlocked the Anomaly Arbitration game mode, here is how you can clear each stage in Honkai Star Rail.

How to Clear HSR Anomaly Arbitration Stage

Honkai Star Rail Anomaly Arbitration is not a free-to-play-friendly game mode. This mode requires you to have the best possible teams equipped with their best builds. You might also need to have Constellations for your characters if you want to win comfortably.

The following section has the guide for each stage of Anomaly Arbitration. Follow them carefully so you can easily grab all the rewards for each stage:

First Stage Knight

The first Knight in the current phase of Anomaly Arbitration has the following traits and weaknesses:

  • Taunting: Enemy target takes immediate action after being attacked 6 times. This tally resets at the start of the enemy target’s turn.
  • Weakness: Lightning and Physical

The first Knight may look easy, but the main issue is that the enemies that are part of this phase can stun allies on attacks. So, when they have an increased number of turns, it only means that they will get to stun you a lot more. So, any team that prefers attacking a lot should not be prioritized, like Follow-Up attack teams and characters like Tribbie. You would instead need Hypercarry characters that can burst down enemies or DoT teams. Also, a healer who can cleanse effectively would also be good. Here are the best teams for stage 1:

Second Stage Knight

The second Knight has the following traits and weaknesses:

  • Interference: After the enemy target uses an attack, randomly causes 5% or 10% action delay to the attacked target.
  • Energy Absorption: After an enemy target receives an attack, reduces the attacker’s Energy by 2 points, except when the attacker’s Energy is maxed. When an enemy target is defeated, the attacker regenerates 10 Energy.
  • Weakness: Wind, Physical

This means that teams that can attack frequently or off-turn can best benefit in this fight. Also, characters that can delay the enemy attacks that can burst down enemies. Also, characters that don’t have energy are great for this fight. Here are the best teams for stage 2:

Third Stage Knight

The third stage boss is the strongest among the Knights, having two different traits. Here are its traits and weaknesses.

  • Resilient Armor: Enemy target initially has 2 stacks of “Resilient Armor,” and each stack reduces DMG taken by 15%. Enemy targets lose 1 stack of “Resilient Armor” each time their Toughness is reduced to 0.
  • Weakness: Fire, Ice

This stage is pretty straightforward; the enemies are tanky, and you need to break their Toughness to make them weaker. So, it is clear that this game favors Break Teams. Here are the best teams for stage 3:

Fourth Stage King

Finally, you will come across the King after defeating all the Knights in the previous stages. Here are the traits and weaknesses of the King:

  • Energy Absorption+: After an enemy target receives an attack, reduces the attacker’s Energy by 3 points, except when the attacker’s Energy is maxed. When an enemy target is defeated, the attacker regenerates 10 Energy.
  • Sunder: When allies are being attacked by enemies, the “Sunder” effect will be inflicted on them. Each stack additionally causes the holder to lose HP equal to 0.8% of their Max HP. This effect can be stacked indefinitely and cannot be dissipated. After targets with ”Sunder” receive a Shield from an ally target other than themselves or healing, all ”Sunder” effects are dispelled on both targets.
  • Weaknesses: Ice, Physical, Quantum

This is the strongest stage in Anomaly Arbitration and will require your characters to have their best possible builds to clear. First, this boss also absorbs energy when you attack frequently, so characters without energy would be really useful against him.

Next, every character will lose additional HP when attacking after being inflicted with the Sunder effect, which stacks indefinitely. This effect can be removed by healing or shielding your allies. With everything said and done, here are the best teams for the King stage in Anomaly Arbitration:
