Vice City returns in GTA 6 at the heart of Leonida and the game’s main urban setting. The modern neon-filled city combines beaches, nightlife, high-rises, residential neighborhoods, ports, and busy streets, giving Jason and Lucia plenty of places to explore. Here is a detailed GTA 6 Vice City guide so you know every key area and point of interest in this iconic area.

GTA 6 Vice City Overview

Vice City is the county seat of Vice-Dale County and is Rockstar’s modern take on Miami in GTA 6. The city is well-known for its beaches, hotels, nightlife, diverse neighborhoods, and busy waterfront areas.

Rockstar describes Vice City as the “sun and fun capital of America,” with everything from the white sands of Ocean Beach to the panaderías of Little Cuba and the Tisha-Wocka flea market. This GTA 6 location also extends toward the VC Port, described as the cruise ship capital of the world.

Vice City is also central to the story of Jason and Lucia in GTA 6. Both characters have been shown throughout the city, while several supporting characters and businesses are directly tied to its lively nightlife and music scenes.

Where to Find Vice City in GTA 6?

Vice City is located in Vice-Dale County in southeastern Leonida in the GTA 6 map. It is the main metropolitan area of the game and contains several recognizable districts, beaches, landmarks, and major transport locations.

In both trailers, the extended look of GTA 6, and regular screenshot drops, we can see Vice City from different perspectives. While bright neon life is the key ingredient for the city, beaches and the waterfront border it perfectly for some extra activities in GTA 6.

Ocean Beach is one of Vice City’s most recognizable coastal areas. Its wide sandy beach is packed with tourists, swimmers, joggers, and people relaxing in the sun, while hotels line the surrounding streets (with the iconic Ocean View making a return from the original GTA Vice City).

The first GTA 6 trailer prominently features Ocean Beach, including the Atlantis Hotel and the area’s busy beachfront. It is one of the clearest examples of Vice City’s modern Miami influence.

South Beach (Southside)

South Beach is another major beachfront area shown in Vice City. The district adds more coastal streets, hotels, pedestrians, and nightlife to the city’s southern waterfront.

Later, we can see Jason and Lucia in swimwear at South Beach in the GTA 6 Extended Look. We also get to see larger NPC density on the busy beach.

Little Cuba

Little Cuba brings a distinct Latin American character to Vice City. Rockstar’s official description highlights its bustling panaderias, giving the neighborhood a different atmosphere from the city’s wealthy beachfront districts.

Little Haiti (La Perle)

Little Haiti is another key location in the Vice City neighborhood. It sits among the city’s more residential and street-focused areas and adds further variety to the urban environment.

The GTA 6 trailers feature references to the San4San (S4S) street gang, whose name comes from the Haitian Creole phrase for “blood for blood”. They could be one of the key players in this part of the city.

Downtown

Downtown is the high-rise core district of Vice City, with a dense skyline. The area provides the strongest contrast to the city’s beaches, with tall buildings and busy urban streets dominating the view.

The district includes the Megamundo Building, NINE1NINE, Sahara Arena, Shorefront Building, The Sumerian, and the Vice City Arts Center.

Washington Beach

Washington Beach is one of Vice City’s coastal neighborhoods, farther away from the main city. It sits among the city’s collection of beachfront areas and provides another stretch of the urban coastline to explore in your GTA 6 cars.

Vice Point

One of the key areas of the Vice City broader collection of neighborhoods is the Vice Point landmark in GTA 6. It covers the northern island and beach districts of Vice City (modeled after North Beach, Miami Beach).

Like its original appearance in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Vice City Stories, Vice Point features coastal high-rise hotels, apartment complexes, commercial strips, and shopping centers like the iconic North Point Mall.

Rockridge

Rockridge is another identified Vice City location. It appears as part of the city’s urban landscape alongside its residential neighborhoods and larger commercial areas.

It is a civic building modeled after the Miami Police Department South Station in Little Havana.

Vice City Port

While we don’t see Vice City Port in full view, in one of the driving sections from the GTA 6 Extended Look, we see it on the right. The port is one of the major transportation areas shown in GTA 6.

Rockstar’s official description calls Vice City the cruise ship capital of the world, making the port an important part of the city’s coastal identity. The classic 3D Universe equivalent is known as Viceport from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Vice City Stories.

However, the new version is part of the sprawling, open-world state of Leonida in GTA 6 rather than being boxed in by invisible boundaries.

Vice City International Airport

Vice City International Airport is one of the city’s major landmarks. Some of the road signage in GTA 6 also confirms the location of Vice City International Airport.

The airport plays an active role in GTA 6 missions. This includes an extended story sequence where protagonists Jason and Lucia enter the private terminal to handle a security assignment for Andres de Leon.

If you are coming from the original Vice City, don’t expect empty scenery. GTA 6’s version of the Vice City International Airport features a larger variety of commercial and private liveries. This includes new regional and airline brands. The VCIA also consists of active passenger waiting areas and extensive runway and highway connections.

Jack of Hearts

Missing Malibu Club from the original Vice City? While we don’t know if it exists in the game, a solid upgrade is there in Jack of Hearts. Jack of Hearts is the major strip club in Vice City owned by Boobie Ike in GTA 6.

It is closely connected to Boobie’s wider business empire and Dre’Quan Priest’s music operation with the record label Only Raw Records. Well, unlike the previous strip clubs in GTA games, Jack of Hearts is linked to the criminal economy. It serves as a money-laundering front and a hub for story missions, meetings, and music industry connections.

NINE1NINE

NINE1NINE is a nightclub in Vice City where Jason and Lucia have been shown dancing together. It represents the city’s nightlife scene and gives the protagonists another place to spend time away from their criminal activities.

Ekanfinaka

Peacock Bay

Peacock Bay is one of the most beautiful waterfront neighborhoods in GTA 6 Vice City. Its name and setting draw from Miami’s Coconut Grove area, giving it a distinct coastal atmosphere within the city.

Peacock Bay has no direct named counterpart in the original GTA: Vice City, although its waterfront setting fits the same coastal identity seen throughout the older game. Especially if you draw a comparison to the Banana Grove location from the first Grand Theft Auto game.

Stockyard

Stockyard is a Vice City district associated with stores, street culture, and car meets. The area gives Vice City another commercial and automotive-focused neighborhood away from its beaches and high-rises.

Tequesta

Tequesta is a named Vice City neighborhood surrounded by modern urban development. Its identity is associated with tall buildings and busy city hangouts, adding another dense area to Vice City’s landscape.

Tisha-Wocka
