Is the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition Worth It?
No, I think the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition is absolutely not worth buying. At $399.99, the Collector’s Edition is four times the price of the Ultimate Edition, and that too, without the game. The absence of a game, let alone a physical disc, makes it difficult to justify for someone who is primarily interested in playing GTA 6.
The merchandise in itself is certainly substantial. You can get a figure, branded sunglasses, a new cap, a crossbody bag, and a lot more. However, the price is the massive elephant in the room.
Among the third-party branded items, several are relatively small collectibles, such as a spoon, a shot glass, a keychain, some pins, and stickers. All of these make it very difficult to look at the collection as a whole, costing a whopping $400.
At this price, you could purchase the Ultimate Edition, the GTA 6 PS5 Controller, a handful of your favorite GTA 6 merchandise, and you would still have some cash left for the upcoming games of 2026.
