The regular harvest event is still active, but what happens now that the mega version has arrived? In this guide, let’s learn how exactly the Mega Summer event works in Grow a Garden, along with all the rewards you can obtain from it.
How Does Mega Summer Harvest Event Work in Grow a Garden
The Mega Summer Harvest event in Grow a Garden introduces a new cart at the center of the play area with the Georgia NPC standing beside it. On top of the cart is a signboard stating Summer harvest or Mega Summer harvest has arrived. Like previous events, you will see a timer above the cart displaying the time left until the next event, aka harvest, starts.
The Summer Harvest event happens every hour and lasts for 10 minutes, with a chance of the mega event happening. The fun part about this event is that it’s a community event and not a solo endeavor. What I mean is that all the players in the server must work collectively to fill the cart with summer fruits and harvests during the event. This point doubles up when the Mega Harvest Event happens. So, look out for the mega event for more points.
Why, you ask? Well, each fruit that you submit gives you harvest points, displayed on the right side of the cart. All the players in the server must work together to rack up harvest points, up to 120, to receive the best and maximum rewards. To play the event, follow the steps below:
- To get started, buy and plant the new summer seeds in Grow a Garden. Do note that it must be a new seed from the seed shop or the summer seed pack.
- Once the plants grow into fruits, collect them and go near the cart at the center.
- Once the Summer Harvest event is live, you will get the option to submit summer fruits. Press the ‘E‘ key or tap on your mobile to submit the plant.
Remember that if you don’t place any fruit in the cart, it will show zero points accumulated, even if you see other players placing fruit in it. However, placing even a single fruit will count towards the server’s contribution, and you’ll get the same rewards as everyone in the end, well, of course, based on the total points.
