One of the biggest updates in Grow a Garden is now live and brings a complete overhaul to most of the plants and crops. Apart from that, there is a brand new event at the center of the play area. Now that the Spring season has ended, the Queen Bee is gone with all her flowers and bizzy bees. It’s now time for the Summer season to take over the game, and with it comes the Summer Harvest event in Grow a Garden.

How Does Summer Harvest Event Work in Grow a Garden
The Summer Harvest event in Grow a Garden introduces a new cart at the center of the play area with the Georgia NPC standing beside it. On top of the cart is a signboard stating Summer harvest has arrived. Like previous events, you will see a timer above the cart displaying the time left until the next event, aka harvest, starts.
The Summer Harvest event happens every hour and lasts for 10 minutes. The fun part about this event is that it’s a community event and not a solo endeavor. What I mean is that all the players in the server must work collectively to fill the cart with summer fruits and harvests during the event.
Why, you ask? Well, each fruit that you submit gives you harvest points, displayed on the right side of the cart. All the players in the server must work together to rack up harvest points, up to 120, to receive the best and maximum rewards. To play the event, follow the steps below:
- To get started, buy and plant the new summer seeds in Grow a Garden. Do note that it must be a new seed from the seed shop or the summer seed pack.
- Once the plants grow into fruits, collect them and go near the cart at the center.
- Once the Summer Harvest event is live, you will get the option to submit summer fruits. Press the ‘E‘ key or tap on your mobile to submit the plant.
Remember that if you don’t place any fruit in the cart, it will show zero points accumulated, even if you see other players placing fruit in it. However, placing even a single fruit will count towards the server’s contribution, and you’ll get the same rewards as everyone in the end, well, of course, based on the total points.
Grow a Garden Summer Harvest Reward Points Explained

As you might have noticed that submitting fruits of different rarities increases the reward points by a different value. Here’s how many rewards points you receive based on the rarity of the summer fruit you submit:

- Uncommon: 2 reward points
