The most beloved farming game on Roblox, Grow a Garden, became much more interesting with the introduction of new cute pets. Not only do they roam around your garden, sitting and napping wherever they feel like, but they also come with unique traits. These traits boost the progress of the crops in your garden, provide random chances for mutations, and offer more buffs. Since there are a whole lot of animals and bugs, we have prepared a Grow a Garden pets tier list, highlighting the best pets to help you choose your companion.
Editor’s Note: This post was last updated on June 14, 2025, with the release of the Working Bees update.
Grow a Garden Pets Tier List: Overview

As of now, there are 53 pets in all of Grow a Garden, each coming with unique traits and buffs. A lot of them can provide you with excellent chances of getting fruit mutations and a rapid growth rate, while there are many others that provide minimal to less efficient qualities.
Accordingly, we have divided all of these pets into different categories, with S being the best of all because it provides the best passives for money making, while D is the worst because the pets in that category have the least usable traits.
Grow a Garden S-Tier Pets
The S-Tier consists of the greatest pets of all in Grow a Garden, including the Dragonfly, Disco Bee, Raccoon, Bear Bee, Mole, and others. Each of them has high-quality traits, where the Dragonfly can turn any random fruit to get a Gold mutation, the Raccoon can steal others’ seeds and harvest, while the Disco Bee has a chance of turning any random fruit to Disco.

Grow a Garden A-Tier Pets
Next at the A-Tier, we have a mix of the Legendary and the Bug eggs, and let me assure you that each of them has excellent qualities despite being a tier below the best ones. Among these, my favorite is the Cow that increases the speed of growth of all plants near it.
Other pets like the Sea Otter help water the nearby crops, increasing their speed and size, while the Silver Monkey can refund some fruits when sold at the Seller NPC, and the Moon Cat can help in increasing plant size and replanting Moonlit fruits. That said, here are all the pets in the A-Tier.

Grow a Garden B-Tier Pets
Since the B-tier lies in the middle, it consists of average pets with a few great passives. However, they can sometimes be limited to benefit a single crop. The Panda is the best example; eating only bamboo can increase its sale value by a small multiplier.
The Chicken Zombie is a free pet that will help you get the Zombified mutation on any one of your harvest. Then, Turtles can be used to increase the sprinkler usage time, whereas Frogs can simply increase the growth rate of plants by 24 hours. Whereas the Golden Lab can help you dig up some rare seeds.

Grow a Garden C-Tier Pets
Coming down at the C-Tier, these pets are slightly better than the ones you can find from most common eggs in Grow a Garden. A few of the rare eggs belonging to this category are the most useful ones, like the Polar Bear that has a chance of giving some of your harvests the Chilled or Frozen mutation, and the Night Owl, helps pets to gain XP.

Grow a Garden D-Tier Pets
Finally, coming to the D-Tier, we have the worst pets of all that come with the least useful traits of all in the game. For instance, the Spotted Deer that can help in keeping the berries intact when harvested. The Rabbit can give your carrots a small chance of adding a value bonus. However, they sell for really low prices, which again is not good enough when you have better crops available.
