In Short
  • Kitsune is a rare Prismatic pet obtainable from Zen Eggs during the Zen Event.

  • Its mutation creates valuable Chakra and Foxfire Chakra fruits, perfect for flexing and farming decent Sheckles.

If you are a fan of Japanese culture, then you probably know about the Kitsune, also known as the Nine-Tailed Fox. Well, Grow a Garden is adding this cute yet fierce creature with the new Zen Event update. Sounds fun, right? Well, if you’re looking to get your hands on this awesome pet, follow our guide to learn how to get the Kitsune in Grow a Garden and what this Prismatic pet brings to your garden.

How to Get Kitsune Pet in Grow a Garden

Kitsune is the first-ever Prismatic-tier pet in Grow a Garden that is available in the Zen Egg. There are two ways you can obtain the new egg in the game right now. Here is how you can get the event-exclusive egg to acquire this new pet:

  • First, collect Tranquil mutation plants from your garden, obtained from the Zen Aura event, Tranquil mutation pets, or the Tanchozuru pet.
  • Now, walk over to the Zen Event hub and interact with the Zen Shop Racoon NPC.
  • Trade Tranquil fruits to get Chi Points. Alternatively, you can grow the Zen Tree to get more Chi Points.
  • Interact with the same NPC again, select the first option to open the Zen Shop, and purchase a Zen Egg for 30 Chi.

You can get the Kitsune pet only from the Zen Egg. Luckily, upgrading the Zen Tree can also get you some eggs after every stage you complete. Kitsune is of Prismatic rarity, and the chances of getting it are a scarce 0.08%. So, you will need to hatch a ton of Zen Eggs to get even a single Kitsune.

You can also spend 149 Robux to purchase the egg. But if you really want to go for that option, the premium Zen Egg from the shop is a much better option. You can get the 1,269 Robux bundle for 10 eggs, which increases the chance for Kitsune immensely.

Should You Get the Kitsune Pet?

Before we dive into whether you should get this cool fox pet, let’s clear one thing: it’s a Prismatic pet. That means hatching it from the Zen Egg won’t be easy and will take some effort. Now, should you grind for the Kitsune in Grow a Garden?

If you’re the business tycoon type and only care about Sheckles, the new Chakra mutation in Grow a Garden it gives might not be worth your time. It only sells for a 5x multiplier, which you can already get from the simple Windy weather event. But if you are a collector, this pet might just be the crown jewel of your garden.

Chakra

Not only does the Kitsune look regal, but the mutation looks like you just unlocked a high-level anime aura around a fruit. Plus, there’s a chance to trigger the Foxfire Chakra mutation, which is both cooler and way more valuable. So, if you’re descending into the Zen Event update, this pet is definitely one to aim for.

Trust me, everyone will remember you for owning the first-ever Prismatic pet in Grow a Garden.
