How to Start the ‘In the Dwelling of Life’ World Quest

The quest can be started by heading to the Statue of the Seven located southwest of Morepesok City. You will find this city west of the Central Station, or the Genshin Impact Immortal Construct boss. Head to the Statue of the Seven on the Genshin Impact Snezhnaya map and start the quest.

How to Complete the ‘In the Dwelling of Life’ World Quest

After you have started the quest, you will have to make your way forward to the marked direction. There you will find a blocked mine, which you will have to clear. Now the quest will begin in earnest, and you will have to complete several small missions to reach the finale. Here is a full step-by-step guide on how to complete the Genshin Impact ‘In the Dwelling of Life’ World Quest:

Part 1: A Sprout Without a Gardener

Once you reach the blocked mine, the first thing you will have to do is dismantle the Grappling Gun using the Eye of Graeae. This will propel the cart into the blocked cave and clear it.

Next, enter the abandoned tunnel and create a Grappling Gun next to the hook on the left wall. Doing this will open the latch, and you will be able to head inside.

Once inside, look for the unconscious girl on the floor. Talk to her and then head inside the tunnel with her. Keep following her until you reach Okurov.

Part 2: Transplanted From “Yesterday to Tomorrow”

Once you reach Okurov, you will start the next part of the Genshin Impact ‘In the Dwelling of Life’ World Quest. First, you will have to head to the assembly hall. This is fairly simple, as all you have to do is reach the marked location.

Once you reach the location, you will have to create another Grappling Gun near the marked window to make it open. Jump inside the window and use the lever behind the counter to open the gate for the little girl.

Now, head upstairs using the stairs to reach the roof and go outside. There you will find another lever. Use it to open the next door for her. Now, continue following the little girl down the stairs.

She will eventually disappear, and you will find yourself restricted in the area. Go right and follow the mysterious force shield to find a place with slimes next to a waterfall. Go past the slimes to find the opening in the barrier. You can simply follow the water flow if you are having trouble navigating.

In the next area, you will have to fight some Leshy that will awaken around you. Defeat them easily using Odette’s best build by using the Stellar Glimmer reactions. After defeating them, keep following the little girl. Until you fall into a cavern. This is where the elements will stop working, and the Eye of Graeae will give access to the TPS mode.

Part 3: Down in the Dumps

Next, you will have to make your way into the sewer to find a way back to the surface. Make your way as normal until you reach a closed door. Use the control wheel to open it.

The room after that will also have a closed door, but the control wheel will be missing. You can find it on the boxes, so pick it up and use it to lift open the door. This will lift the door area slightly, so you will have to press the sprinting button twice to slide under the door.

Next, you will have to make your way to the other side over the water. Use your Grenade launcher on the Pyro setting to destroy the boxes blocking the way. Then, craft a Grappling Gun on the other end and jump onto the floating plank to reach the other side. Part 4: The Three Keycards

In the next room, investigate the Sewer Entrance/Exit Guide to learn about three keys that will open the door to the surface. This room also has the Genshin Impact Gunstock blueprint, so make sure to pick it up as well.

The Blue key can be found in the same room on the control panel. Remove the Blue key and take it to the closed door on the left. Use it to lift the door. Once the door is open, craft a cube in its place so that you can remove the key and keep the door open at the same time.

Now, use the blue keycard on the next terminal to lower the water. Now, you will have to remove the card and quickly head to the door downstairs before the water gets back up. Use the key near the terminal on the door to open it.

Inside this room, you will find the White key. Here you will have to create another Grappling Gun to open the blocked path. Now, use the White Key on the terminal outside, next to the Blue key terminal. Paimon will now bring you the Blue Key, which you can also use to open another door at the bottom.

Go through that door to find the way up the pipes to get the Red card. Defeat the enemies and make your way to the next room. Make your way back to the main terminal and get the Blue and White key back. Use them all in the final room to open the main door.

Go inside and examine the Leshy in the sealed tube to awaken it. Defeat it to get the control wheel from its head. Use the wheel to open the next door. Now, make your way to the surface to continue in the Genshin Impact ‘In the Dwelling of Life’ World Quest.

Part 5: Back on One’s Feet

Follow the little girl again and reach a closed house. Climb to the roof and jump into the chimney to get inside. Inside, you will find boxes blocking the basement. Use the grenade launcher with the Pyro setting to blast away the boxes.

Inside, you will have to create another Grappling Gun to open a wall, where you will find the lever to open the next door. In the next area, you will have to slide over the cube to pass under the door. Leave the Cellar and go outside to the little girl.

Continue following the little girl to reach the Assembly Hall. You will have to defeat Furiosa on the way. Simply keep shooting at her until she is defeated.

Part 6: Forbidding Doors of Melancholy

In the next room, you will find a blocked door. Investigate the door where the little girl is standing, and then the main door with the small hole. The girl eventually slips through the hole and opens the door for you.

Inside, create a Grappling Gun on the platform next to the little girl to pull a platform towards you. Go to the platform and remove the Grappling Gun to go up.

Next, pull the lever on the wall, which won’t work at first. You will have to craft a Launching Platform to jump to the next platform above and craft a Grappling Gun there to pull the next platform towards you. Remove the Grappling Gun again to move forward. Use the same mechanics to reach the other side and reach the lever. Doing this will progress the Genshin Impact ‘In the Dwelling of Life’ World Quest.

Now, you can only pull the lever when Paimon says ONE! If you do before or after that, it won’t work. This will open the main door. Go downstairs and regroup with the others.

Before the giant wheel, craft a Grappling Gun on the left platform. Next, craft a cube in the broken space of the wheel. Now, dismantle the Grappling Gun to open the door. Use the elevator to head to the next area.

In the next room, investigate the notes on the ground. Two of them will be on the ground floor, and the third one will be on the second floor. Once you pick up the third note, the safety mechanism will start, and you will have to protect the little girl from range. Defeat the monsters until the girl reaches you, completing the mission. Now, continue on your way, head back outside, and follow the little girl to her home.

Part 7: To Rest in a Forgotten Field

On the way to her home, you will come across Zala, the Immortal Firebird. Defeat this boss with your gun to finally reach the girl’s home. Eventually, you will meet Aksinya, one of the key figures in the Snezhnaya World Quests. Here you will find one of the pieces of the Eye of Graeae to complete the mission.
