The Galaxy Note 10-series is apparently turning out to be every bit the success that Samsung was hoping it would be. According to reports out of South Korea on Wednesday, the company has revealed that pre-orders for the Note 10 and Note 10+ combined have already surpassed 1.3 million units in the country. The most popular model during the pre-order period was the 256GB Galaxy Note 10+ model in Aura Glow, said Samsung.

The company opened pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 10 series in South Korea on August 9. The data includes all bookings it received during the 12-day period from August 9-20. Samsung further claimed that the total number of pre-orers during the 12-day period was double that of the Note 9-series, which is certainly good news for the company that’s still reeling under the Galaxy Fold fiasco.

Samsung has been taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 10 lineup over the past couple of weeks in a number of countries around the world, including the US and South Korea. The device was officially launched in India earlier this week, where it is currently available for pre-order starting at Rs. 69,999 for the Galaxy Note 10 and Rs. 79,999 for the Note 10+.

The two are largely similar in terms of their hardware, but with a few notable differences. While the standard Note 10 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display, the Note 10+ comes with a massive 6.8-inch QHD+ panel of the same description. However, while the former sports a triple rear camera set-up on the back, the larger model incorporates a quad-cam module.
