Much like any other community event, Team Battles also allow players to earn a stack of free cosmetics by simply playing the game. How to Join Fortnite Team Battles
Fortnite Team Battles is a community-driven event, much like the Showdown Rivalries event, where players sign up on an external website to represent one of the competing Baller League teams. Unlike standard in-game challenges like Fortnite weekly quests, your progress in this event is tracked through the Fortnite Team Battles website. Here is how you can join the Team Battles event:
- Visit the official Fortnite Team Battles website.
- Log in using your Epic Games account
- Choose which Baller League team you want to support.
- Jump into Fortnite and start earning eliminations.
By participating in the event, you will earn Badges based on your in-game performance (specifically, eliminations). These badges help you progress towards milestones that trigger automatic rewards for your account. However, it is also a collective effort, as, while you work on your personal badge count, you will also be contributing to your chosen team’s standing on the global leaderboard.
All Fortnite Team Battles Rewards: How to Unlock Free Unstoppable Emote
The Team Battles event features five distinct rewards that players can claim without spending Fortnite V-Bucks. While some rewards like banners and sprays will be granted immediately after hitting the requirements, the main prize has a specific delivery date. Additionally, the Team Battles event, unfortunately, doesn’t feature any free Fortnite skins to claim, so you will have to make do with the other freebies.
