You can get the Dart Monkey Fortnite Sidekick for free by purchasing Bloons TD 6 on the Epic Games Store. The Sidekick acts as a loyalty reward for players who already own or purchase the title through Epic’s storefront, similar to the recent Super Meat Boy Sidekick. 

Here are the steps you can follow to get the Fortnite Bloons TD 6 Sidekick at no extra cost:

• Head to the Epic Games Store through a web browser or the desktop application.
• Use the search bar at the top of the homepage to look for Bloons TD6.
• Select the Bloons TD 6 game. 
• Buy the title for $13.99.
• Launch Fortnite and navigate to your in-game Locker.
• Sort by Sidekicks, and you should find the Dart Monkey sidekick in your Fortnite library. 

With these steps, you can get the Fortnite Bloons TD 6 Sidekick without spending any V-Bucks. However, note that if you added Bloons TD 6 to your library as an Epic Games free game in the past, you are not eligible for the free Fortnite Dart Monkey Sidekick. You must have a paid purchase of the game or an eligible in-game item on your Epic account to trigger the grant.

You can get the Sidekick for 1,500 V-Bucks (roughly $15.99), and it will be available for purchase until April 30, 2026, at 8 PM ET. Follow these steps to acquire the Dart Monkey Sidekick through the Item Shop:

• Launch Fortnite and head to the Item Shop in the top bar.
• Find the Dart Monkey Sidekick.
• It should be placed near the top since Epic promotes new releases in the Item Shop.
• Click on the Sidekick.
• Check to see if you have enough V-Bucks for the purchase.
• Click and hold the Purchase button.
• You should find the Fortnite Bloons TD 6 Sidekick in your library.

Furthermore, if you already bought the Dart Monkey Sidekick in the Fortnite Item Shop and then decide to buy Bloons TD6, Epic will grant you a one-time refund of 1,500 V-Bucks.
