- Epic has unveiled the Fortnite Design a Sprite contest winners, confirming the concepts will be added in Chapter 7 Season 4.
- The Sprite designs include Pond Sprite, Bullet Sprite, Honey Sprite, Dumpster Dive Sprite, and X-Ray Sprite.
- Epic also confirmed a Fortnite Sprite Garden coming next season with new social features.
Epic Games has finally revealed the Fortnite Design a Sprite Contest winners, revealing 5 winning Sprite concepts that will be added in Chapter 7 Season 4. The reveal of the contest winners comes alongside official confirmation from Epic that Sprites will return in the next Fortnite season.
In a new community post shared by Epic Games, it was revealed that a new Fortnite Sprite Garden feature will be introduced in Chapter 7 Season 4, and that the developers will add a new generation of Fortnite Sprites.
Among the new generation of Sprites being added to the game in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, the Design a Sprite contest winners are also included, which will bring the following designs and powers:
- Bullet Sprite: Ammo boxes grant slightly more ammunition.
- Dumpster Dive Sprite: Gather loot from jumping into dumpsters.
- Honey Sprite: When a nearby enemy damages you, a beehive quickly emerges and releases a swarm of bees toward the attacker.
- Pond Sprite: Speed in water increases with each stage. Level 5 grants increased jump height and fall damage reduction.
- X-Ray Sprite: Reveals players through walls and other objects for a short time.
We actually highlighted one of the winners, the Pond Sprite, in our best Fortnite Design a Sprite contest entries. Now, this fan-made concept, among four others, will be available to master for your Sprite collection in the upcoming season.
Apart from the community-made Sprites, players can expect original Sprites from Epic too, likely influenced by the gaming theme of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override. Additionally, players will now be able to use the new Sprite Garden social feature, allowing players to interact with their collected Sprites and even visit their friends’ sanctuaries.
