The FischFright event of 2025 is in full swing in Fisch and brings back all the spooky fun and some exclusive items. The event starts on a new island called the Crook’s Hallow where you can find lots of new NPCs with quests. How to Complete Headless Horseman Quests in Fisch FischFright Update
The Headless Horseman is one of the quest givers in the latest FischFright update of Fisch. The event will be running till November 1, 2025, so you will get enough time to complete this questline and get the exclusive rod.
The Headless Horseman calls his questline Jack-o-Blazers, and there are five tasks you must complete as stated below:
1. Find a Frightful Jack-O-Lantern
The Jack-o-Lantern can be caught by fishing near Crook’s Hallow, but its drop rate is very low. You must have the Frightful mutation in Fisch on the creature. Use the Frightful Relic to enchant your rod, or catch the item first and then appraise it to get the Frightful Jack-o-Lantern.
2. Collect 5 Wisps
Wisps spawn randomly at the graveyard near the Silas NPC, behind the area where the Headless Horseman stands. Take the path beside the Headless Horseman, and you’ll find a huge Nessie statue and Silas standing beside it. Around this statue, gravestones are scattered on each corner, where the Wisps spawn. When the gravestone gets a blue highlight, move close to it, press the ‘E’ key, and grab the Wisp.
3. Find a Haunted Candle
The Haunted Candle is found at the Mansion. Make sure you complete the first two tasks before going for this. The Haunted Candle will be dark in complexion, and it can be in any location inside the mansion. Luckily, it can only replace the normal candles, so look for it in those areas.
4. Find a Blazed Handle
It can be obtained by submitting ingredients to the Witch’s Cauldron. All you need to do is be alert to the notification for when the goblin spawns in the main world. Reach the same island and locate the goblin.
Interact with it, complete the challenge, and you’ll have a Witch ingredient. Submit this at the Witch’s cauldron to get random FischFright rewards with a chance to get the Burning Handle in Fisch.
5. Collect 5000 Candy
Some easy ways to earn Candy in the Fisch FischFright event are by trick or treating, completing the NPC quests, submitting ingredients to the Witch’s cauldron, and opening Frightful Crates. So, while collecting them, you can check with the Headless Horseman to keep a check on your progress.
Once you have completed all the quests for the Headless Horseman, you’ll be able to get the Jack-o-Blazer Rod in the game.
Jack-O-Blazer Rod Stats in Fisch
The Jack-o-Blazer is one of the rarest rods in Fisch, as it will only be obtainable during the FischFright. It comes with decent base stats. Whether you want to catch a big creature or you are just making quick money, the Lure Speed, Control, and Resilience complement each other. However, the rod lacks in the Luck department heavily.
Before we jump into its amazing passive, here are the stats you get in the Jack-o-Blazer rod:

Moreover, it comes with two passive mutations. Wicked mutation is obtainable 20% when you fish with the Jack-o-Blazer Rod. It multiplies the fish value by 6.6x. On the other hand, there is a 2% chance of getting the Jack’s Curse mutation that increases value by 16.6x. With the right amount of Fisch enchantments, Jack-o-Blazer can be the best rod.
Best Enchantments for Fisch Jack-O-Blazer Rod
The base stats of Jack-o-Blazer Rod are decent, but the Luck is not good enough to catch late-game fishes. That is why we suggest using enchant relics or cosmic relics and giving the rod a good enchantment.
You can put Fisch Enchantments depending on your need, but we recommend some control and luck-improving enchantments. Here are the enchants you must try with this rod:
