Elden Ring Nightreign introduces a completely new map to navigate. The game is very dependent on properly planning your route over the three-day cycle, so learning each of the locations in Limveld becomes crucial. There are 13 different points of interest in Limveld, excluding the Shifting Earth events. To help you familiarize yourself with all the locations of Limveld and their hidden secrets, here is a complete Elden Ring Nightreign map and locations guide.
All Elden Ring Nightreign Limveld Map Locations

Above is the complete map of Limveld. Most areas in Limveld should be familiar to old Elden Ring players, as all of their assets have been used from that game. However, the functionalities of these areas vastly differ from those of Elden Ring. So, to help you understand each of the icons, we have created a detailed guide. Each icon has been annotated with a number, and its significance has been explained below.
1. Fort
Forts are big fortified buildings that always have a minor boss and a clue for all scarabs on the map. In this area, there is also a chance of getting a Stone Sword key from the metal chest on the roof.
2. Great Church
The Great Church is a big, open area crawling with enemies and may or may not have a basement. If the Great Church doesn’t have a basement, the boss will be found above. If it has a basement, you are guaranteed to find the boss below. There is also a chance of obtaining a Stone Sword key from the metal chest behind the raised dais.
3. Main Encampment
Main Encampments are fields with enemies and are great spots to farm runes early on in the game. This place is generally filled with Godric soldiers, demi-humans, or flame chariots. You can also find a smithing in the main encampments.
4. Ruins
Ruins have underground passages that hold multiple chests and a ton of good loot. The enemies vary quite a bit for ruins, and you must be careful not to get ganked by multiple enemies jumping at you.
5. Tunnel Entrance
Tunnel Entrances are basically entrances to the mines. You can find Smithing Stone 2 in the mines. They also have multiple openings, so you can enter from one side and leave from the other. However be careful to not get stuck in a mine when the zone closes in as you can easily die underground without getting out.
6. Castle
The castle is always located in the same middle area of the map. This place will always have a merchant spawn nearby, filled with strong enemies. The Crucible Knight castle spawn is one of the best places to farm runes on day 2. However, be careful, as sometimes this area can have four trolls that constantly throw magic pots at you.
7. Field Boss
Field bosses are bosses that you have discovered on the outside while exploring Limveld. These vary massively in terms of difficulty, and facing the wrong field boss at the wrong time significantly damages your run.
8. Evergaol
Evergaols are the areas where you can spawn bosses using a Stone Sword key. The boss’s health bar is adjusted based on the character’s level. Fighting Evergaol bosses at higher levels can be more challenging, but they also drop better rewards.
9. Township
Townships are safe areas where you can find merchants. The Township merchants generally sell more items than the ones found outside.
10. Church
The church is where you can get additional Flask charges in the game, making it the most important location in Limveld. The highest number of churches I have seen in a single span is four.
11. Sorcerer’s Rise
Sorcerer’s Rise are long towers that are sealed by a barrier. This barrier can be broken by finding the seal in the nearby area and breaking it. Now you can enter the Rise and head to the top to claim your rewards.
12. Spectral Hawk Tree
Spectral Hawk Trees are generally found in the four corners of the map. Players can use them to ride the hawk to great distances, saving their time and stamina.
13. Spiritstream
Spiritstream can be used to leap up into the air and high areas that will take a long time to reach by climbing. Hold the jump key in the Spiritstream to leap high into the air.
All Elden Ring Nightreign Roundtable Hold Map Locations
Other than the main map of Limveld, you should also familiarize yourself with the Roundtable Hold, as here you will complete most of the character Remembrances. Here are all the notable locations in Roundtable Hold.
