Elden Ring Nightreign: How to Pass Time and End Shifting Earth Events

In Short
  • Shifting Earth events in Elden Ring Nightreign are equal parts fun and annoying, depending on who you ask. Fortunately, the game offers a way to skip them entirely.
  • Players can interact with the beds placed in the west wing of Roundtable Hold to skip Shifting Earth events.
  • It's important to note that beds cannot be used to trigger events as they're completely randomized.

Elden Ring Nightreign features a selection of entirely new mechanics, with a prime example being Shifting Earth events. These random occurrences spice up the title’s streamlined gameplay formula by injecting chaos into Limveld briefly. During these events, players need to traverse treacherous terrains and fight grueling bosses to get a special reward at the very end. With that being said, the novelty of each event wears off after you’ve seen it multiple times, causing some players to wonder if they can be skipped. Elden Ring Nightreign Bed Location

To end a Shifting Earth event in Nightreign, you’ll need to sleep in a bed and pass the time. Follow the steps below to locate it:

  • Turn right after spawning in the Roundtable Hold and move towards the corridor where the Remembrace Journal is located.
  • Run to the opposite end of the corridor, and you’ll find yourself in a separate room.
  • Look towards the wall on the right side to spot two beds placed together.
  • Whenever a Shifting Earth event is active, you can interact with these beds to skip it.

It’s important to note that you cannot interact with the bed to trigger a Shifting Earth event or a raid, as their occurrences are randomized. To check which event is currently active, you can either look for a pop-up notification or look on the right side of the Expeditions menu after interacting with the Table of Lost Grace.

The game primarily features four different kinds of Shifting Earth events, and around eight world events that can drastically change the nature of your run. Check out all Elden Ring Nightreign events to learn more about them.
