Balancers are one of the new bosses added in the Forsaken Hollows DLC in Elden Ring Nightreign. This boss features multiple enemies simultaneously, making it quite challenging for players to defeat. If you are struggling against the Balancers boss, then you have come to the correct place. Here is a complete guide on how to beat the Balancers boss, Weapon-Bequeathed Harmonia, in Elden Ring Nightreign.
How to Unlock Balancers in Elden Ring Nightreign
The Balancers expedition in Elden Ring Nightreign is a Forsaken Hollows exclusive boss. You will need to purchase the Forsaken Hollows DLC to add this boss to the game. After you have done so, you must defeat the Gladius Beast of Night for the first time. Once you have defeated him, speak with the Iron Menial near the Roudtable and then speak with the Small Jar Merchant. Next, you will have to enter the closed room next to the Small Jar Merchant, which will take you into a fight with the Dreglord, alongside Scholar and Undertaker.

After the fight, return to the closed room to unlock both the Scholar and the Undertaker, and also the Balancers expedition. Now, queue into the Balancers expedition from the Roundtable Hold to get started.
Balancers, Weapon-Bequeathed Harmonia, Strengths and Weaknesses
- Strengths
- High resistance to bleed
- High resistance to poison
- High resistance to rot
- Multiple enemies
- Overwhelming AoE attacks
- Weakness
- Sleep ailment
- Staggers against heavy weapons
The Weapon-Bequeathed Harmonia is the set of multiple valkyries clad in white armor that you have to fight at the same time in the Balancers expedition. The hardest difficulty in the fight is maneuvering against the multiple onslaught of enemies. The Weapon-Bequeathed Harmonia will try to swarm you with attacks from multiple directions. Thankfully, the enemies are susceptible to Sleep, so you can carry a sleep-inflicting weapon, grease, or pots to make the fight much easier.
The Balancers fight is mostly a DPS check, where you have to defeat each of them quickly. The boss is very resistant to bleed, poison, and scarlet rot, so building around these ailments would be a waste of time.
Weapon-Bequeathed Harmonia Moveset
The Weapon-Bequeathed Harmonia has a fairly simple moveset, but with multiple enemies spamming them at you, they can be hard to dodge. Here is a quick view of all the Weapon-Bequeathed Harmonia, the Balancers boss, moveset:
- Spears in a straight line: One of their most annoying abilities is summoning spears ahead of them in a straight line. This is easy to dodge, but having multiple enemies do this to you from outside your vision can be extremely annoying. Always look at the ground, and if you see it shining, it’s a good time to dodge sideways.
- AoE spears: Another annoying spear-related ability is when the summons spears from the ground around it in an AoE. You can simply dodge it by moving outside the circle, but you will have to stay aware of your surroundings at all times.
- Thrust combo: In the first phase of the fight, the enemies may occasionally perform a special combo thrust attack at you. When this happens, their spear will glow, and they will lunge at you. Simply dodge sideways to avoid the first thrust and then move behind the enemy to avoid the other attacks.

- Criss-cross combo: After you have defeated all the enemies in the battlefield for the first time, the boss will enter the second phase and do this attack. It will resummon the enemies, with one of them becoming enhanced. Next, they will take to the skies and lunge at you at different times. Simply look at the path on the ground to avoid the attacks. After that, all the enemies will do a massive AoE attack, followed by another AoE attack. Timing the dodges for both is crucial if you want to survive this fight. In the second phase, whenever you defeat the advanced enemy, they will perform this attack.
- Advanced enemy combo: In the second phase, the advanced enemy can perform a combo similar to the Thrust combo. But this combo is longer and has a few slam and spinning attacks. You can dodge them the same way as before, roll sideways for the first lunge, and then move behind the boss, but keep your distance to avoid the spinning attacks.
Best Nightfarers to Beat Elden Ring Nightreign Balancers Boss
- Scholar
- Ironeye
- Wylder
- Undertaker
- Raider
- Duchess
Scholar is easily the best nightfarer for this fight, as his Ultimate will make it a lot easier to defeat all the enemies. If playing Scholar, follow our Scholar build to get the best out of the character. Other than that, you need strong DPS or stagger-breaking characters. Ironeye, Undertaker, Raider, and Wylder all fit perfectly. Duchess can also be great for additional damage with her Restage ability.
This boss is particularly difficult with Guardian, as you will be swarmed from most sides, so dodging is crucial over tanking. Revenant, Recluse, and Executor may also have a hard time. Executor can be useful only if you find a sleep weapon in the game.
How to Prepare for Balancers in Elden Ring Nightreign

The expedition system in Nightreign puts great emphasis on preparation. With the correct preparation on days 1 and 2, you can quickly defeat this boss. Here is what you need to focus on:
- Find Sleep weapons or items: One of the high-priority things you have to do on days 1 and 2 is amass all the sleep-inducing items or weapons you can find. This includes sleep weapons, skills, pots, or grease.
- Reach level 15: Balancers is a hard boss to fight, and you need to be max level to make the fight as easy as possible. Leveling scales your damage and health, both of which will be needed in this fight.
- Hit at least two churches: Although grabbing all the flasks is never the priority, healing can become an issue during this fight. So, I recommend grabbing at least two flasks from churches so that you can survive longer.
How to Beat Balancers, Weapon-Bequeathed Harmonia, Boss

The Balancers boss fight is mostly a battle of attrition and DPS checks. You have to survive longer or defeat the enemies quickly. Here is what you need to do:
Phase 1:
- In phase 1, try to avoid taking damage and focus on taking down single enemies together with your allies, instead of fighting multiple enemies at the same time.
- Keep checking your surroundings to avoid other attacks.
- Avoid using sleep-inducing consumables. You will need them in the second phase.
Phase 2:
- If solo, focus on the elite enemy first and try to DPS it down.
- If with a team, focus on defeating the other enemies first and then target the elite enemy.
- Try to put the elite enemy to sleep to make the job easier.
So, this is how you can defeat Weapon-Bequeathed Harmonia, or the Balancers boss, in Elden Ring Nightreign. It isn’t the easiest boss to defeat, nor the fairest, with all the enemy spam attacks, but the fight is a spectacle for sure. If still in doubt, reach out to us in the comments below.
