8 Best Elden Ring Talismans for Bleed Builds

If there’s one thing Elden Ring really values, it’s Builds and Talismans. While you can create the best Elden Ring builds, you need focused talismans to finish it. Many players prefer the bleed build in Elden Ring, possibly one of the strongest in the game. So if you’re someone looking to make a bleed build, you must be wondering about the best bleed build Talismans. So keep reading as we suggest the best Elden Ring talismans you should use for bleed builds.

1. Lord of Blood’s Exultation

Lord of Blood's Exultation bleed build in Elden Ring

Of course, if we are making an Elden Ring bleed build, it has to include the penultimate medallion that elevates this build to its intended damage. Lord of Blood’s Exhultation is an Elden Ring talisman that raises your attack power by 20% for 20 seconds when blood loss happens in your vicinity.

Getting the medallion for bleed build in Elden Ring requires you to progress through the game and reach Leyndell. You head to the bottom of the Subterranean Shunning Ground and reach the Leyndell Catacombs. It is at the bottom of this area. Now, finish the entire dungeon, and defeat Esgar, Priest of Blood to receive this medallion.

2. Shard of Alexander

Iron Fist Alexander is a rather cute Jar you’ll find in Elden Ring. You first encounter this NPC at northern Stormhill, where you help him to get out from the ground. And this NPC will give you the next best Elden Ring Talisman for Bleed Builds.

The Shard of Alexander Medallion greatly boosts the attack power of skills by 15%. So, if you are using a blood weapon like the Rivers of Blood Katana or even the best Elden Ring Katanas, you can use their skills and deal more damage to your opponent.

3. Erdtree’s Favor

Erdtree's Favor Elden Ring Talisman for Bleed build

The Erdtree’s Favor talisman increases HP by 3%, stamina by 7%, and Equip Load by 5%. So, if you are making a bleed build using a dagger or a Uchigatana, you can focus on creating a dex build, allowing you to perform faster bleed build-up. This Elden Ring talisman has three variants at three different places.

The first variant is at the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave, which gives you the aforementioned stats. The +1 variant exists at Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, right after defeating Mogh, the Omen. It exists in a chest and increases your HP by 3.5%, Stamina by 7%, and Equip Load by 5%.

Similarly, the +2 variant exists at Leyndell. If you fast-travel to the Forbidden Lands site of grace, and take the elevator to the city, you’ll find the Talisman at a large courtyard with a beast. This talisman will provide you with an increase in HP by 4%, Stamina by 10%, and Equip Load by 8%. Regardless of which variant you get, this still remains one of the best Elden Ring talismans for bleed builds.

4. Rotten Winged Sword Insignia

Rotten Winged Sword Insignia is one of those talismans I consider to be a must-have for a great bleed build in Elden Ring. This talisman increases your attack power per hit based on three tiers. This means your power increases by 6%, 8%, and 13% respectively per hit. So, since you will be dealing bleed damage on your enemies continuously, having this medallion is an absolute must.

Getting the Winged Sword Insignia requires you to meet up with Millicent, and complete her questline, which requires you to help her defeat her sisters. This side-quest is another long-winding experience, taking you through various locations on the map, and pits you against the strongest optional boss of this game – Melinia, Blade of Miquella.

5. Claw

Claw Talisman in Elden Ring

Since most bleed builds in Elden Ring include daggers and katanas, it is wise to take advantage of a Talisman that boosts your jump attacks. Claw is one such talisman that helps with optimizing your jump damages. Equipping it will increase the jump attack by 15%.

This is one of the early-game talismans you can get while exploring Stormhill Castle. Spawn at the Rampart Tower site of grace, and from there go upwards from the room where there’s a lift. Go outside, and parkour on the ledges to reach a roof with a dead body, holding this Talisman. You’ll also have a ruthless Pichone waiting, so kill it before doing anything.

6. Millicent’s Prosthesis

The Millicent’s Prosthesis talisman increases your Dexterity by 5 and has the same properties of a Rotten Winged Sword Prosthesis. This means each successive attack boosts your attack power by 4%, 6%, and 11%.

To get this Talisman, you must continue Millicent’s questline and meet with her after killing the Godskin Apostle at the Windmill Village. Doing so will give you the talisman. Alternatively, instead of helping her fight her sisters in the end, you can challenge her to a battle, effectively killing her and getting it. However, you lose the chance of getting the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia until NG+.

7. Great Turtle Talisman

Green Turtle Talisman in Elden Ring

To build up bleed damage in Elden Ring, it’s imperative you be quick and hit your enemies with successive damage. This naturally requires fast stamina recovery. Well, the Great Turtle Talisman comes to the aid to solve that problem. It raises the stamina recovery speed by 8 per second, which is approximately a 17% increase. So now you can keep slashing away with enemies for a little longer.

You can find this Talisman by visiting the Summonwater Village, and going to an underground area filled with turtles. Once you spawn at Summonwater Outskirts’ site of grace, look east and ride towards the ruins with turtles outside. Then, use two stone shard keys and open the fog gates to get what I feel is one of the best Elden Ring talismans for a bleed build.

8. Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman

Our final Elden Ring talisman for bleed builds is the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman. From its name, I think you already know this is a defensive talisman. Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman reduces all physical damage taken by 20%. Furthermore, you get general damage reduction from the enemies.

Getting this talisman requires you to go to Miquella’s Haligtree and proceed to the second half of the dungeon named Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. It is in a chest on an elevated platform inside a large northeast building. Hence, you must do some parkour and avoid getting attacked by enemies on the way.

And these were the best Elden Ring talismans for bleed builds. However, I do recommend you mix and match before picking your favorite. Once done, get ready for the DLC by learning how to start Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.
