In addition to the 2025-2026 club season performance, the World Cup season definitely has an impact on player ratings this year. Erling Haaland had a terrific season, becoming the PL top scorer once again and having a great run in the World Cup. So, he now joins Kylian Mbappe, the EA FC 27 cover star, in the 91-rated club.
Kylian also had an all-time season, winning all three top-scorer awards in major competitions, but he secures the same rating as the previous season. Following Kylian and Haaland, Harry Kane had a record-breaking season, scoring 73 goals in a single calendar year, but it seems like that wasn’t enough, as he is placed in the 90s.
Among these top strikers, Thibaut Courtois, the Real Madrid goalkeeper, gets +1 and is now a 90-rated GK in EA FC 27.
Apart from these players who breached the 91-rating threshold, Rodri, Dembele, Yamal, Jude Bellingham, Vitinha, Pedri, and Olise are locked at 90. Among these players, Michael Olise, the Bayern Munich star, gets the biggest glow-up as he received a +4 and reached the 90 mark.

FC Barcelona stars Claudia Pina, Caroline Graham Hansen, and Ewa Pajor share the same rating, 89. Overall, FC Barcelona players dominate the top 100 women’s player ratings in EA FC 27, as they have always done in the previous titles.
Temwa Chawinga, Mariona, Klara Buhl, Melchie Dumornay, and Alessia Russo are the next set of stars who have secured a top rating in EA FC 27.
Who Are the Highest-Rated Players in EA FC 27?
It’s now official: the top players in EA FC 27 are Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, and Alexia Putellas. Though Kylian didn’t win any silverware last season, he secures his throne after winning every major top scorer award. After serving assists one after another, Michael Olise is now a 90-rated player alongside Rodri, Dembele, Yamal, Jude Bellingham, Vitinha, and Pedri.
As you can see, the top stars are from the UCL winners (PSG) and WC winners (Spain). Unfortunately, Salah, who had a top player rating in EA FC 26, sees a drop in his rating after an average season at club and national team.
Vinicius Jr, Bruno Fernandes, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and more will remain under 90 for the time being. Lastly, Lionel Messi, one of the greatest players to grace the field, has jumped up in rating to 89 after putting up terrific back-to-back performances with the Argentina national team in the World Cup as well as Inter Miami.
