To celebrate the holiday spirit, EA FC 26 has welcomed the Winter Wildcards promo in Ultimate Team. The campaign has been part of the Ultimate Team calendar for several years, although it has experienced variations from one iteration to the next. FC 24’s Winter Wildcards featured daily SBC releases, FC 25’s went really wild by turning into a mini Shapeshifters event, and for FC 26, the devs are amping things up by introducing brand-new Hero items into the game.

The EA FC 26 Winter Wildcards promo started on on Friday, December 19, at 1 PM ET (6 PM BST/10 AM PT). According to insiders, the promo will feature three squad releases, meaning it’ll take up around three weeks on the FC 26 promo calendar.

Winter Wildcards usually leads up to the biggest event of the game’s annual cycle – Team of the Year (TOTY), and FC 26’s iteration is expected to follow.

The EA FC 26 Winter Wildcards promo is all about celebrating the holidays with weekly player releases, daily Objectives, quality SBCs, and much more. To get players in the festive mood, the devs typically release cheap SBCs and up the special card volume in packs, encouraging them to grind for high-rated player items.

To wave off 2025 in style, Winter Wildcards will also see the arrival of three new Heroes, including Jill Scott, Claudio Pizarro, and Ivan Zamorano. A ‘baby Icon’ SBC will also be available to complete, if you’ve got the fodder for it.
