As we head into week two of the EA FC 26 Cornerstones campaign, the devs have released a brand-new SBC that offers a unique Nico Paz player item. The 21-year-old has been sensational for Serie A club Como, bringing goal-scoring and playmaking in equal measure to Cesc Fabregas’s side. Is the EA FC 26 Nico Paz Cornerstones SBC Worth It?
For 33,000 coins, Cornerstones Nico Paz is well worth it. Of course, you will need a squad with Serie A players to complement the card, but it has all the tools to be the creative engine of your side. 70 Physical, combined with his 6’1 stature, ensures that Paz won’t be muscled off the ball easily. On top of this, he’s got 80+ in the Pace, Shooting, Passing, and Dribbling, as well as 4-star skill moves to pull off those L1 Stepovers and Croquetas.
In terms of PlayStyles, he doesn’t have a single PlayStyle+, which is a shame, but the base traits are still pretty solid. Finesse Shot, Inventive, and Incisive Pass are all proving to be quite effective in the early weeks of Ultimate Team, and Paz possesses all three. So, if you enjoy using technical ballers and have some coins to spare, then Nico Paz is worth the price in our opinion.
What are SBCs in EA FC 26?
SBCs are short for ‘Squad Building Challenges’ in EA FC 26. They’re essentially mini-puzzles where you can trade in your duplicates and reserve players to receive player picks, packs, and unique player items. Depending on the quality of the reward, a single SBC could ask for anywhere from 1 to 30 total squads. New Squad Building Challenges are released every week, although special player-related SBCs are usually dropped alongside promos.
