Cyrene is probably the most complicated character in Honkai Star Rail. She has multiple names throughout the story — Philia093, Demiurge, Mem, Daughter of Aedes Elysia, Ripples of Past Reverie, Amphoreus’s Heart, and Cyrene. All of her different names reveal different things about her past and personality, and are very closely tied to the story.

She was first Philia093, or Lament, who shared her story with Mem, who then became Demiurge and took the identity of Cyrene. Daughter of Aedes Elysia, Ripples of Past Reveries, and Amphoreus’s Heart were more of her titles. Initially, we got the feeling that the original Cyrene was different from Mem or Demiurge, which later turned out to be wrong.

At the end, we realized that she was Cyrene from the beginning, and it was she who told stories or acted as Fuli towards herself from the past, using the power of Remembrance. So, Cyrene was the same person who spoke to herself in the past, which is why she was mistaken for Fuli, the Aeon of Remembrance.

This was only possible because the first Nouspour born in the Scepter, Cyrene, before the interception of Zandar One Kuwabara, was born a Pure Child of Anasrava. The Sceptor’s goal from the beginning was to create a form of Remembrance for the fourth Aeon of Finality. Now that you have an idea of Cyrene’s real identity, let’s discuss her actual name reveal.

As mentioned earlier, Cyrene has multiple names, but all of them are her real identity. Although the name Cyrene does come the closest, as it was chosen by the “first Cyrene” as a pen name. So, what’s Cyrene’s real name? Although we do not get her exact name in the story, she does mention that it starts with ELY, which is enough for us to make an educated guess. The real name of Cyrene is Elysia. How do I know? Well, it’s a known fact that Cyrene is actually the EXPY of Elysia from Honkai Impact 3rd.

The entirety of the Amphoreus arc draws parallel to the Elysian Realm arc of HI3. Also, Elysia is the most successful character in Honkai Impact 3rd, which is why we could see the enormous effort put behind Cyrene to make her reach a higher success level. Seeing how Acheron also kept her name as Raiden Bosenmori Mei, and Phainon’s name being revealed as Khaslana, it isn’t too big of a stretch to say the ELY does end up as Elysia for Cyrene.
