In the high-seas adventure of Blox Fruits, your race serves as your starting crew, influencing your playstyle and combat prowess. With a diverse lineup of contenders, each boasting unique strengths and weaknesses, selecting the right one becomes crucial. Our Blox Fruits races guide will help you understand all the race in the game as well as how to obtain them. So with that, let’s break it all down.
All Blox Fruits Races List
There are 6 different races in Blox Fruits to select from. You can pick any from the rerolls but it will take a lot of time to get to the stage. For that, you must level up fast and obtain the races. Or, you can simply get the Blox Fruits codes and use them for free rolls early on. Below are all the available Blox Fruits races and what they offer:
1. Human
While not specialists, Humans are the all-rounders in Blox Fruits. They boast balanced stats in all areas. This makes them adaptable to any situation and lets them master any fighting style, be it sword, gun, or another.
This versatility allows Blox Fruits Humans to work well with a variety of fruits, making them a great starter choice. If you seek balance, the Human race will make you adaptable to various situations and fruits.
- Obtainment: 3000 Fragments from tort, 90 Robux, Codes or Event
- Pros: Great Flash Step range and Great damage while using Last Resort
- Cons: Not so good in PVP and no health or defense buffs
2. Shark
If you are all about a defensive playstyle, look no further than Shark. The Shark race boasts incredible health regeneration and takes reduced damage, making them walking tanks in battle.
This resilience is perfect for beginners or players who prefer soaking up hits rather than dodging them. Their V2 and V3 unlock incredible skills such as water immunity and damage resistance as well.
- Obtainment: 3000 Fragments from tort, 90 Robux, Codes or Event
- Pros: Water immunity, Great damage reduction, and beginner-friendly
- Cons: Weak against long combos
3. Rabbit
Zoom through the competition with the Rabbit race in Blox Fruits! This speedy crew focuses on agility, enhancing your base speed and dash for lightning-fast movement. Unlock “Agility” for an extra burst, making you a nightmare to pin down in PvP.
While Rabbits excel at chases and escapes, their focus on speed comes at the cost of raw damage output compared to other races.
- Obtainment: 3000 Fragments from tort, 90 Robux, Codes or Event
- Pros: Great mobility, dash costs zero energy (requires Melee stat is above 900)
- Cons: Abilities last only six seconds and are only good for moving around
4. Ghoul
Ghouls specialize in stealing life and restoring health while attacking with fighting styles. While they boast decent defense, extra damage, and a nighttime speed boost, they don’t excel at any of these areas like other races.
This makes them a good pick if you’re undecided on a playstyle. However, their nighttime advantage and life steal only work with fighting styles, not swords or fruits. Additionally, acquiring the Ghoul race requires some effort, though not as much as the Cyborg race.
- Obtainment: 100 Ectoplasm and A Hellfire Torch trade with Experimic
- Pros: Costs nothing to change to Ghoul race once obtained, great lifesteal
- Cons: Mostly stronger at nighttime and hard to obtain
5. Cyborg
Introduced in Blox Fruits’ V4 update, the Cyborg race prioritizes raw power and defense. Their signature ability, “Energy Core,” reduces incoming damage, disrupts enemy instincts, and deals area damage. This, combined with their naturally high defense, makes Cyborgs formidable fighters, especially against teams of attackers.
Additionally, their V2 passive grants near-unlimited energy, eliminating potential energy exhaustion. However, Cyborgs lack movement speed buffs, making them feel sluggish without equipment enhancements. On a final note, unlocking the Cyborg race in Blox Fruits requires a complex and potentially expensive process.
- Obtainment: Cyborg Puzzle
- Pros: Good defense against combos, V2 passive gives energy buff
- Cons: Bad at movement, changing race back to Cyborg costs 2.5k Fragment
6. Angel
Soaring through the skies, the Angel race in Blox Fruits excels at air-based combat and keeping allies healthy. Their boosted health and energy regeneration make them durable in PvP and boss battles, particularly in V3.
This aerial dominance allows them to counter spammy fruits like Dough and Dragon. However, jumping doesn’t translate well to dodging attacks, making the Rabbit race generally more mobile on the ground.
- Obtainment: 3000 Fragments from tort, 90 Robux, Codes or Event
- Pros: Fast health and energy regeneration, high initial Air Jump
- Cons: Jumping doesn’t provide proper dodging, Air Jump costs energy
Tips to Get Races in Blox Fruits
Now that you know about all the races in Blox Fruits, here is a guide with all the tips that can help you obtain the best Blox Fruits races, change them, or use them properly:
Changing Natural Races
Human, Rabbit, Angel, and Shark are the natural races in Blox Fruits. These are the races you can easily obtain. Make sure you have enough fragments before you visit the NPC tort in the Second or Third Sea.
Once you interact, you will be able to reroll your current race for 3000 fragments. You can also spend 90 Robux at the Product Shop for reroll if you are lazy enough to travel to the Second Sea. As mentioned above, free rerolls are available through codes and quest rewards as well. It will be random, so make sure you are prepared for a shocker.
Obtaining and Changing Cyborg
Obtaining the Cyborg race can be a bit tricky in Blox Fruits. The quest to get this race is called Cyber Puzzle. Here is how you can obtain it:
- Defeat a Sea Beast in the Second Sea and obtain a Fist of Darkness.
- Defeat a smaller Order to get a Core Brain.
- Purchase a Microchip from Arlthmetic to begin an Order raid.
- Start the order with both Fist of Darkness and Core Brain in inventory.
- A secret staircase will open, allowing the player to purchase Cyborg for 2500 Fragments.
Although you will need to do this quest once, you must spend 2500 fragments every time you want to roll back to the Cyborg race. That is why, we recommend you to start this quest only if you want to use this race eternally.
Obtaining and Changing Ghoul
Ghoul is another race in Blox Fruits that can be hard to obtain. However, if you want to get this race, here is the easiest method you can follow to obtain it:
- Go to the Second Sea and locate the Cursed Ship.
- Defeat the NPCs and Cursed Captain who will drop x10 Ectoplasm with each defeat.
- Collect 100 Ectoplasm as well as a Hellfire Torch dropped by Cursed Captain.
- Once you have enough resources, go to the Kitchen in Cursed Ship.
- Interact with Experimic NPC there and trade these items for the Ghoul Race.
While the obtaining part is tricky, changing the Ghoul race is simple. It is completely free and can be done by enrolling from Experimic NPC whenever you want.
Blox Fruits Race Awakening Guide
Along with the races from earlier, another option in the game is the Race Awakening, aka Race V4. Race Awakening (V4) lets players upgrade their race (V3) for exclusive buffs. These buffs boost PvP, grinding, speed, and overall gameplay.
Players can unlock race-specific abilities through quests, puzzles, and trials. These abilities enhance damage, defense, mobility, cooldowns, and more. To awaken your Race V4 in Blox Fruits, you’ll need to meet several prerequisites.
First, ensure you’ve reached the Third Sea and defeated Rip Indra’s True Form. Complete the Sealed King Quest and acquire a Mirror Fractal from Dough King. Equip the Blue Gear on Mirage Island. Finally, gather a group of at least three players, each with different Races at V3 or higher, who have also met these requirements. Once you’ve completed the Ancient One’s training task (if applicable), wait for a full moon to initiate the awakening trial.
