Black Ops 7 Season 1 finally delivered what fans have been asking for: an Akimbo option for the Akita Shotgun. Custom-designed for the sweats, the Akita Scorchlink Akimbo attachment lets you run two of these devastating Shotguns at once, thanks to a special Belt-Fed magazine. There’s no way to oversell exactly how much damage two automatic Shotguns can do, although you’ll have to contend with the new overheat mechanic that does limit their capabilities somewhat.

How to Unlock Akita Akimbo in BO7 and Warzone Season 1

You can unlock Black Ops 7’s Akita Akimbo Shotguns by completing all six week two challenges. In case you hadn’t heard, BO7 has adopted a weekly challenge and reward system akin to Modern Warfare III (2023), meaning there will be unique attachments on offer nearly every week.

The challenges for Season 1 week two, scheduled to commence on December 11, will have the Akita Scorchlink Akimbo attachment as the reward. All you need to do is complete every objective across campaign, multiplayer, Warzone, or Zombies, and you’ll get the unique attachment. If you miss out on the challenge window, the attachment will be available as an Armory unlock at a future date.

To dual-wield the Akita Shotguns, make sure to go into the gunsmith menu and equip the attachment. All other Magazine attachments will be blocked while you’re using the Scorchlink.
