Compared to its launch days, Fisch has evolved beyond a simple, relaxing fishing simulator. Now, with the addition of quests demanding specific fish types, expensive new rods, and skins, earning money quickly has become essential in this Roblox game. Hence, this guide lists some of the best money-making rods in Fisch to help maximize your in-game earnings. We also include additional information about each fishing rod to help you use them effectively.
1. Fabulous Rod
- Enchant: Sea Overlord or Sea Prince
If you are at the late game above level 1000 and need an OP money-making rod in Fisch, the Fabulous Rod should be your ideal choice. Getting the Fabulous Rod can be a hassle, as you have to complete a series of quests given by the Fabulous Deity NPC on top of Calm Zone. However, it’s absolutely worth the pain, given that you’ll get one of the best rods in the game.
In terms of statistics, Fabulous Rod comes with 100 Lure speed, 500% Luck, and 50 Resilience. It also comes with a strong passive that functions similarly to stabbing offered by Trident Rod or Piercing rods. The passiv doesn’t require the fish to move to have a chance to slash, and grants 3% progress per slash.
On top of that, every 3 slashes will grant the rod +0.2 control as well as +200% progress speed over 3 seconds, making it a great rod for catching rarer fish. Additionally, the rod also offers a 26% chance at the Fabulous mutation and a 25% fish size, both of which can yield a lot of money.
As one of the best rods, you can use any stat boosting enchant on the Fabulous Rod. However, as we are talking about making money, using the Sea Overlord enchant from a Cosmic Relic or a Sea Prince enchant is highly recommended. Both of them can increase the fish size drastically, resulting in a higher selling value.
2. Runious Oath
- Enchant: Mystical or Sea Prince
The Ruinous Oath is the second-best money-making Fishing Rod that you can get in Fisch. It can be obtained in the Crimson Cavern for 5,000,000 credits after Level 750. However, you must also complete the Crimson Cavern bestiary if you want this rod.
This is easily one of the best rods in the game, due to the sheer amount of passive it provides. This late-game rod has a very high Luck of 500% and infinite Weight capacity. You also get a 95% moderate Lure Speed. However, its low Control stats make it a bit difficult to use, requiring some precision.
The rod’s passive abilities increase mutation chances and progress speed. There is a small chance to trigger slashes that incrementally fill progress, increasing over time, a 25% chance to apply the Luminescent mutation, and a chance to instantly fill a large portion of the progress bar. During a Perfect Catch, the Control bar gradually decreases while progress speed steadily increases, guaranteeing the Mastered mutation. This can be a bit difficult to use, but with time, you’ll master it.
You can even use the Mystical Enchant on it to further increase Lure Speed, Luck, Resilience, and Progress Speed. Use the Sea Prince Enchant from the Exalted Relics to increase the size of the fish caught. Overall, the Ruinous Oath is the one you should be aiming for. If you don’t have enough money, consider getting the Luminescent Oath rod, as it costs less and has a very similar stat and passive compared to the Runious Oath rod. Of course, the Ruinous Oath is slightly better in terms of stats, but the Luminescent Oath can be a good replacement for the time being.
3. Tryhard Rod
- Enchant: Herculean (best), Controlled, or Unbreakable
The Tryhard Rod has better Luck Stats and chances of reeling in a rare fish compared to the Ruinous Oath. However, it ranks lower due to its garbage control and resilience stats. This is one of the end-game rods that you can obtain by completing RoRed’s questline. Mind you that getting this rod will be a testament to your patience.
This rod comes with a very high 80% Lure Speed and 999% Luck but very low Control and negative Resilience, making it challenging to handle without enchants. With its passive, every fish caught gains the Tryhard mutation that increases the value of the fish 10 times, also providing a 300% Progress Speed bonus.
Unfortunately, the rod has -500% resilience and -0.37 control, and that is why we recommend the Controlled, Herculean, or Unbreakable enchants. This will add some control, making it easier to use. While three of them are suitable, the Herculean enchant makes the reeling minigame easier by increasing the width of the bar. Note that Herculean is an exalted enchantment and will require Exalted Relics.
You can use Heaven’s Rod at Mineshaft or any other farming location to get the secret or exotics easily, and if you are lucky, you will earn more through the Tryhard mutation.
Bonus: Ethereal Prism Rod
- Enchant: Sea Overlord
The first rod on our list is the best one in the game right now. It can give you even more money if you are a little luckier. The Ethereal Prism Rod costs 3,500,000 credits. This is much lower than the previous price of the rod, making it much more accessible for players. If you want better luck at catching secret fish in Fisch and exotics, this rod has a higher chance due to its 195% luck.
Plus, when you combine it with the Prismize mutation, your wallet will overflow with cash. While using the Ethereal Prism Rod, you have a 50% chance to get this mutation and the fish sells for 8x value, which makes it one of the best money-making rods in Fisch.
To maximize the value of the fish, we recommend the Sea Overlord or Sea King enchantment. Sea Overlord increases fish size by 25% on every catch. This means the Prismized fish you catch will also come out bigger with more selling value. The ideal place to make money with this rod is the new Veil of the Forsaken or Calm Zone regions. However, we recommend you stick to the Abyssal Zenith and Volcanic Vents with this rod.
On an average of 10 minutes of fishing in the Abyssal Zenith, you can get between 250-300k in-game credits. However, given that both of these bestiaries have a better chance for you to get the secret fish, a Prismized on top of that, and a big mutation can make you an hour’s worth of farm in one catch. Keep in mind that the Ethereal Prism Rod is not only costly, but it requires you to unlock the Calm Zone bestiary before defeating Scylla in Fisch.
