Best C9 Loadout and Class Build in Black Ops 6

The C9 is the first SMG that players get their hands on in Black Ops 6, and it’s a gun they can comfortably rely on for dozens of hours. Being the latest iteration of the beloved MP5, the compact weapon bundles impressive accuracy and a rapid fire rate with top-tier accessibility and respectable damage. While it’s simply a must-try for new players, those in competitive lobbies can easily transform this weapon into a ranked beast by equipping the right attachments. With this in mind, here’s our guide on the best C9 loadout and class build in Black Ops 6.

Best C9 Loadout in BO6

Without Gunfighter Wildcard

  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag I
  • Fire Mods: Recoil Springs

Our recommended loadout for the C9 in BO6 bolsters the weapon’s recoil, bumps up its precision, and improves its abilities in mid-range engagements. This ensures that the SMG’s signature balance remains intact despite upgrading its damage range.

Kicking off our build is the Compensator, which tightens up the recoil and increases the weapon’s accuracy. We’ve opted for the Reinforced Barrel, which provides a much-needed buff to its range and bullet velocity. The Vertical Foregrip is a solid choice to offset the barrel’s recoil gains.

While you can definitely make do without an extended magazine, some extra bullets always come in handy. And for this reason, we’ve gone with the Extended Mag I attachment since it doesn’t hamper the reload times significantly. Lastly, the Recoil Springs fire mode turns the C9 into a laser, allowing you to beam enemies from 45-50 meters.

That completes our five-attachment setup, but if you want to run this weapon solo, here’s the best C9 build using the Gunfighter Wildcard.

With Gunfighter Wildcard

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag I
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  • Stock: Infiltrator Stock
  • Fire Mods: Recoil Springs

The three extra attachment slots can be used to improve the C9’s mobility and equip an optic for good measure. Our optic of choice is the Kepler Microflex since it’s a remarkably clean sight that offers ample magnification. Next up is the Ergonomic Grip, which is tailored to take advantage of BO6’s omnimovement system and provides boosts to the SMG’s Slide to Fire, Dive to Fire, and ADS speeds.

The final attachment is the Infiltrator Stock that bumps up the Aim-Walking Movement speed by 18%, sharpening that mobility ever further. Both loadouts bring the best out of the C9 and help iron out its shortcomings.

Best C9 Class Setup in Black Ops 6

The C9 can be outgunned by guns like the KSV or the Ladra on Black Ops 6’s smaller maps, but its range really shines in medium-sized arenas. Even in close-range encounters, the SMG can hold its own, which is why most players usually run it as the sole primary weapon. Nevertheless, you’ll still need to pair the gun with the best Perks and Equipment to complete a proper class setup.

Secondary Weapon

  • Muzzle: Ported Compensator
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Laser: Target Laser
  • Fire Mods: Recoil Springs

Just like in the best AK-47 loadout in BO6, the Grekhova gets our nod for the secondary, primarily since the C9 can function well enough on its own, without having to equip the Overkill Wildcard. But if you’re keen on pairing it with another primary weapon, it can easily provide Sniper support to the SVD or serve as a close-range finisher to the ranged laser that is the SWAT 5.56 Grau Conversion.

Best Perks and Equipment for C9 in Black Ops 6

  • Perk 1: Ninja
  • Perk 2: Fast Hands
  • Perk 3: Slipstream
  • Wildcard: Overkill/ Gunfighter
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stim Shot

The C9 is an excellent SMG to run and gun with, reflected in our Perk selections’ aggressive nature. For starters, the Ninja Perk decreases your movement noise, making it easier to get the jump on your opponents. Next, we’ve opted for Fast Hands to increase the weapon swap speed. Lastly, the Slipstream Perk significantly improves your base sprint speed, allowing you to always keep up the momentum.

For an immediate dose of health regeneration, which is a borderline requirement for aggressive players, the Stim Shot is our recommendation for the Tactical. The always-reliable Semtex rounds out our C9 class setup.
